Tony Benn, former Postmaster General, dies at age 88 and changed the face of the +Post Office

During his time as Postmaster General from 1964 to 1966. He immediately widened the scope for commemorative stamps "to celebrate events of national or international importance, to commemorate appropriate anniversaries and occasions, [and] to reflect Britain’s unique contribution to the arts and world affairs".

If you have a thirst for knowledge on all things postal orientated then this is a must place to visit with a mass of interesting and unusual objects and facts on the subject. The exhibition on the now defunct mail rail throw up facts and unseen photos of the hidden railway most people never knew existed under londons streets Well worth a visit a true gem
