Last night I took my girlfriend here. We normally wouldn't have gone here, she remembered the fish being good but it's a pretty swanky place, and we prefer a more low key vibe. We had had a long day, it was 10pm on a Sunday, so we had limited options for our sushi craving. Both my girlfriend and I work in the service industry, so we appreciate how restaurants are run. Our server's name was Dylan B, and he was a rockstar. He completely turned our night around, and it was a fantastic experience some of our nigiri was a bit old, but the first few pieces were awesome. We'd go back just for Dylan's excellent service!

I recently revisited Wasabi because of their great food. But this time, their service was not up to par. The waiter was not friendly. And when we asked for more edamame, he did not inform us that it would cost $2. So when the check came, I did not leave them a tip. Then a few days later, I reviewed my bank account and they added a $6 tip without my permission. The money is not what pisses me off. It's the fact that I signed and agreed to a certain amount, and they upright changed the total. Even though their food is fantastic, this is not okay. And I will not support a business that lies and cheats to their customers' faces.

I had spicy tuna rice bowl and sashimi set B during happy hours. Sashimi is so fresh and delicious. Of course it's not cheap. But I'm really full after finish those. Service is okay. Atmosphere is quite nice. But not suitable for groups. It would be better if they play Japanese songs.

Visited Wasabi based on a recommendation and by god they were right. The sushi here is excellent, maybe not the best sushi I've ever had but definitely very high on the list. What I liked particularly about Wasabi was the different flavours offered in the sushi, they are experimental but they also nearly always work which makes for a fun experience. The fish used was good which is of course the most important aspect of any sushi restaurant.

Excellent food with a wide selection. The service is lacking however. The waitor never entered one of our items, and never checked on us, leaving us no option but to get up and ask about the missing item. He did not stop by the table to apologize for the oversight, but he did bring the wrong dish. He made a half-hearted attempt to lecture us about ordering and then took the item away. Overall, an upsetting experience. The food was delicious, so I haven't totally written this place off yet.

When you say Wasabi Bistro two things come to mind. The first is Happy Hour. Early happy hour and late happy hour. How can you beat that. And the happy hour deals don't just have sushi. You will find other salad, beef and seafood options on the happy hour as well. If you are in Belltown at happy hour and craving sushi this is a place to go. Helps that the interior makes you think you are in LA and not Seattle as well. The second thing I think about when someone says Wasabi Bistro is no. Traditional sushi rolls. Come on they have a Seattle roll, a barbie roll, sinatra and the kiss of fire. I have just as much fun ordering rolls becsuse of the strange names as I do actually eating the sushi. While there may be better sushi places in seattle as far as just sushi, when you take into account the creativity of the rolls, the atmosphere and the great happy hour Wasabi Bistro is a great place to visit.

Great service! Great food! I have been here for all types of occasions. Always great for the anniversary.
