Come hear what Baltimore planning professionals have to say about landing your first job! You will have three different themed talks to choose from during each of the session breaks:
THEME 1: MARKETING YOURSELF: Topics might include resume and cover letter tips, advice for using social media, networking lessons, negotiating a job offer, etc.
THEME 2: PRACTICAL JOB ADVICE: Topics might include insights about the interview process, tips for job hunting in a digital age, things to know when entering the field, etc.
THEME 3: LEARNING THE PROFESSION: Topics might include understanding AICP Certification, public versus private practice, project management, planning specializations, etc.

The Baltimore Washington Metro Area provides a tremendous laboratory for studying urban environments. Our location provides ample opportunities for us to leave the classroom and experience urban spaces firsthand. Access to the nation's Northeast corridor gives the program a great advantage.
