The wait staff is awesome, from their attentiveness to their attire, makes you feel like you're not even in NY, but in Jamaica somewhere. This is helped by the great Reggae and Dancehall music they play round the clock, it's just a great time. Definitely try their grilled corn, jerk chicken and oxtail stew... All amazing!

Great atmosphere, good service, music, but unfortunately the food was just okay! And a little disappointing. The pepper shrimp was really good, but for a Caribbean place the curry goat stew was bland and we had to add our own sauces!! Again i really didn't mind looking at the waitresses

This place is casual and friendly. Food is well prepared. I try the jerk chicken roti and I highly recommend it. In addition you can watch soccer games on their TV.

I loved the food here. The hostesses are always dressed so nice, as if you were in Jamaica itself. The jerk chicken and oxtail stews are amazing and the music is always great. The hostesses are very friendly and attentive as well.

Lovely Jamaican spot. Laid back atmosphere, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food. I was a bit let down by the jerk chicken, which we felt tasted more like BBQ chicken (the Texans variety). Fish taco is delicious, as is their corn. Oxtail is another great dish here. I'd also recommend their fries - fries itself is of the standard shoe string variety, but the jerk ketchup is where it shines.

Miss Lily's comes through with more than one standout dish at this laid-back back Jamaican hot spot. There are, however, a few misses as well. We started with the jerk corn, fish tacos, spicy shrimp, and ackee dip. The corn and the tacos were fantastic. If go back just for those two dishes alone. The shrimp are spicy (in a good way) and flavorful, but for some reason, almost impossible to peel, which made the dish more frustrating than enjoyable. Ackee dip was also very good. For our main course, we ordered we ordered the sampler, where the oxtail definitely stole the show. The jerk chicken was missing the "jerk" seasoning and was slathered in a sauce that tasted more like American BBQ than anything that came out of Jamaica. The curry goat as well as our mac & cheese were fine, just not exceptional in anyway, and neither dish left me wanting more. The biggest let down for me was the callilou. It was mushy and reminded me of frozen vegetables that had been left out to defrost and then microwaved. Not appealing, at all. It should also be noted that the service was incredibly friendly and helpful from the hostess to our waitress to the manager (who checked on is several times and stopped to have a conversation with us that was very informative). I recommend a trip to Miss Lily's, just don't leave without having the corn and the tacos - they are a must!

Miss Lily's is a great starter pack for those people that are afraid to get Jamaican food in Crown Heights. For the type's that want to feel cultured without leaving their nice neighborhood or campus. Their seasoning is delicious AF. Makes you want to reevaluate the way you cook your chicken. I'd give it a 3.6 stars but google is only letting me round up. So you lucky with this one Miss Lily's.
