A Facebook friend recently posted one of those messages asking friends to parrot the post. It began:

"Would 3 of my friends please copy & paste?"

Normally, I'd stop reading right there but it continued:

"National Suicide Prevention
800 273 8255
It's ok not to be ok
💙💚💙💚"

That reminded me that I have read that Google searches indicating intent to harm oneself or join radical groups return results seeking to discourage those acts. See http://www.cnn.com/2011/12/13/tech/web/facebook-google-suicide/ and https://www.wired.com/2016/09/googles-clever-plan-stop-aspiring-isis-recruits/ for example.

What we search for and how we use the internet says a lot about us, medically. The potential to diagnose conditions like ADD, dyslexia, dementia and a variety of other conditions through internet behaviors has enormous untapped potential. I hope this is something medical science companies like Alphabet's Verily Life Sciences have prioritized, particularly for conditions requiring early intervention and treatment.
