I think some of these past reviewers went to a different haunted house because I can't say I have ever had a bad experience here. I have been attending for years with some of my friends and family and each and every time it is memorable and fun. Sometimes I come more than once in a season I think it is that great. I have to say this season was by far my favorite with the new circus theme. DEFINITELY WORTH YOUR MONEY! If you're looking to be scared you have chosen the right place. They have every different fear you could possibly imagine fit into a 4 story building. The actors have top notch makeup and do a great job of invading your comfort zone and really scaring you. They have been recognized on local news stations, the Guinness World Record Book, the Travel Channel and many other medias. If you're looking for a memorable night Erebus is the place to go!

Don't waste your time going here. I have been going to erebus since the first year it opened. It used to be a good scare and worth the money. not only has the price increased to 28 dollars a person but it seems like they just dont care to put in what you pay for anymore. I went last weekend and it was by far the worst experience i have had at any haunted attraction. its a really popular place with a lot of hype surrounding it. if you plan on taking your girl alone thru the haunt dont plan on it. they will put you in a group even if you dont want to. me and my girlfriend were put in another group with four other people!! i could go on but anyways. I told them about my horrible experience and nothing was done.

Well, Erebus upped the game this year. Not only do they have the longest haunt I have ever been through, it took us 41 minutes according to my stop watch. The overall theme of the attraction, time travel to various times and dimensions keeps you fully engaged in all there is to experience. I attend Erebus, like many other haunts, every other year so as to be able to experience more changes than if I went every year. This year they took out some of the old and brought in some new and frightfully delightful rooms. The introduction of a circus/sideshow themed room complete with a laser lit mirror maze to add to the confusion and a snake charmer that provided quite a scare. This scare is the location for the new high tech scare cameras which creates a three dimensional scare pic which can be purchased and then freely shared with friends via email. The actors this year did a great job of staying in character and kept the crowd moving forward so as to avoid any slow downs in the action. The makeup they use is airbrushed by an obviously talented artist. This type of makeup seems best suited to the darker environment of a haunt. Costuming was well chosen and, once again, I must say the actors performed quite effectively. On the lighter side of the attraction, they have added an electronic tally board to keep track of peed pants and chicken outs. It is complete with rotating lights, sound, and digital readout. They have one board at the entrance and one at the exit for all to see. One last observation. The selection of available merchandise greatly exceeds any other haunt I have visited in recent years. They have everything from the traditional t-shirts and hats, all the way up to shot glasses and decals. I have always recommended Erebus as a haunt season destination and I do so again. So if yo find yourself the time and money to experience this legendary haunt, you should do so, especially if it is the only haunted attraction you visit in any given year. Happy haunting my dear readers!!!!!!!! Grimdaddy

Me and some buddies went last night and had a blast, my buddy totally freaked out in the ball pit, screamin like a baby. they have a mirror maze thing with a bunch of clowns, seemed like millions of clowns, and I hate clowns. There is this new 360 photo op thing that's like the Matrix movie, I've never seen anything like it so we all got a picture. We do haunted houses every year and this one always ends up bein @1 on our list - it was incredible this year. The actors seemed to go out of their way to scare us - almost like they were trying to get us on their "wimp" board. It took us about 40 minutes to get through and we were laughing and screamin the whole way thru. Can't wait to see what's new for next year.

This place is AWESOME!!! I absolutely LOVE this place. This was my first time going to Erebus and after this, i plan on going every year. I'm going twice this year. I went on Thursday and I'm going again on Saturday. They scare you sooo bad, i felt like I was going to pass out. I was scared OUT OF MY MIND! When you're waiting in line, you can hear the people screaming from all the way upstairs! The actors are very very scary and they do everything they can to scare you. The actors were very nice and funny too. Their costumes and makeup are amazing and very scary. If you go with your friends, like i did, you'll have the best time of your life! You'll scream and laugh through the whole thing. When you're walking through, you really don't know whats going to happen next, so they keep you very anxious and very scared. You will NOT regret going to Erebus. It is totally worth your money. If you go to a haunted attraction every year or you've never been to one in your life, Erebus is the place to go! It takes about an hour to get through the whole thing and every second was just scary and totally awesome. It changes and gets even more scarier every year, so I can't wait to see what they have next. :)
