This story upsets me to the core. Why these two can't get it together and raise their twins together is beyond me. The aren't a candy bar you split in between each other; they are children...twins at that.
The event planner tells PEOPLE about dealing with a difficult divorce while raising his daughter as a single dad...

Watercooler Wednesday!

As a work from the home mom, I need a scenery break for my sanity. How would you feel if your local 'work out of the home' spot put up a 'no laptop' and banned you from working from their location?

Panera and Starbucks are my two go-to work out of the house options. I wish there was more available in our area. Having said that, neither one has limited wi-fi time (as of yet).

The preparation for a great biz year in 2014 continues! Today included a total email inbox overhaul {removed over 2600 emails and got my inbox down to 0 and started the unsubscribe process for emails that are no longer relevant to me and my biz.}

What are you doing to get ready for 2014?

Yes, you are still a mother. Thank you for sharing your story.
Invisible motherhood happens more frequently than you’d ever imagine…until you suddenly end up the mother of an invisible child. Until you’re able to hold back the tears long enough to talk about it. Then women with similar experiences seem to pour out of the woodwork, heartbreaking stories and empathy shared in equal measures. And I want to ask them “Where were you until now?”

I loved how creative this family was :) Everyone was able to give a piece of who they are.
Watch this video. Don't you wish you had a slow-motion booth at your wedding?

Diana Adams - The Maryland Seamstress accepted a wedding dress job with my sister's wedding dress and then moved away without notifying my sister. She left my sister's dress abandoned in her home. Thank goodness my sister was able to retrieve it. I do NOT recommend her services to anyone. If you are interested in more horror stories, just Google her.

Yesterday a waitress accidentally spilled an entire tray of iced tea and water all over my mother. The waitress and the two waitress cleaned up the mess without an apology. Not one person ever expressed that they were sorry about the incident. My mother returned to the hotel to change and I told the waitress that she would be back. I also asked that they consider removing her food from the bill; considering the inconvenience. They finally agreed and also threw her food away! When it was time to leave I asked for her food and they told me because they voided her food from the check, they thought I didn't want it. Absolutely the worst service lately and have been faithful customers for years. To make matters worse this is the second time that someone has dumped a tray of iced tea on a member of out party in two years. Due to the fact that they no longer care about how they treat their customers, we will no longer be a customer of theirs. There are plenty of places in Gettysburg that appreciate faithful and returning customers.
