I've been playing around with ideas for this OSR type mash-up rules set. If you are the type that likes to take a look at rules proposals and comment about it, let me know what you think!

It combines aspects of Star Frontiers, BECMI, and  Mordheim to make a deadly group skirmish roleplaying game (if options are built for that.) But it can be built a couple of other ways too. I was thinking of having the theme of a Samurai PC with a bunch of swordsmen/pikesmen/ronin retainers and stuff. Talk to the wrong person and get your crew cut up. But who knows. Any thoughts appreciated.

Does anyone have any suggestions for D&D (or OSR) adventures out there that are very similar to T1: Village of Hommlet in detail of a small town?

Expanding my games with a few public sessions to meet new people. Let's play some Red Box together! :)

We've moved! Got out of our efficiency and into a much larger apartment in Glen Burnie, MD. We now have a ton of space to play tabletop games (once we get a kitchen table & chairs) and I am soooo excited to be able to play games outside of public play spaces!

I finally got around to finishing my Dark Sun LotFP conversion. The Templar and Psionicist (with a Psionics system) are added, so you can play everything that was in the main box.

I'm looking for assistance... I want to start gaming  on Hangouts using a headset and/or camera (we have a Logitech C920) but there is a catch. I have five birds (parakeets) and live in a very small space. They aren't noisy as all hell like cockatiels, but when they get excited and playful they make noise and there is really no stopping that. Aside from that I have lots of other noises. I can only imagine that getting clean audio that won't annoy the rest of a group will be hell.

Does anyone have any experience working with a similar situation? Got tips for using hangouts with such an environment? Or recommendations for controlling sound in tiny areas?

I am a sucker for Visual Kei and awesome Japanese metal stuff. Man, that crowd is into it.

Charm City Game Day in early 2015. Character sheets by +Craig Brasco  interior screen panels by +Antonio Ruiz , exterior screen art and adventure art by Jay A. DeFoy. Playtesting Killers written by myself using Lamentations of the Flame Princess. This test run was a lot of fun. Since then, I've made a fair amount of modifications to the adventure, and it will still need to be handed off to other Referees who would like to playtest it (reader: are you interested?)

During this test the players found enough loot to leave halfway through and buy 15 barrels of gunpowder, blasting a portion of the keep to bits. They then hired some laborers to dig their way past the collapsed areas to keep exploring deeper rooms and tunnels. Who needs fireball in this system anyway?
