Came looking for a great place to eat at 11pm! Kitchens were closed then we found West Bridge. Limited menu this late at night but there are some amazing items on the menu. The duck liver toast and beets and salmon roe toasts were my favorite. So 4 stars on that. BUT... 5 stars goes to our AMAZING bartender Chris. He made us the best amaretto sour and old fashion! True craftsmanship work right there. Would definitely come back!!

Great restaurant/bar. I had a good beer/burger combo for lunch. I also noticed that they also have a really interesting selection of liquor even though its not a huge bar. Things like Ransom gin or Peat Monster whiskey that you don't see as often made me want to come back and try their mixed drinks.

West Bridge's menu livens up traditional favorites with unusual substitutions: Corned tongue in a Reuben, Guancile instead of bacon in a "GLT." I had the Tuna a la Plancha: seared over a bed of corn, trumpet mushrooms, olives and heirloom tomatoes. Quite good, but too modestly proportioned to serve as a sole lunch course for me.

Man, I love this place. Inventive, well executed cocktails. Fun bar food. And dinner is always a treat. It was the first time my wife ever liked brussel sprouts.

I had really high expectations for West Bridge. Blend of French cuisine and the warmth of a New England meal? That could not sound any better. From the description on their website, I might've compared it to Alice Waters's Chez Panisse in my head before the dinner, and that was perhaps my mistake. I liked the dinner, but didn't love it. And for the price ($200 including tips for a tasting menu for two people, one drink each), I have to say I was rather disappointed. It might have to do with the fact that some of the options on the chef's tasting menu (you don't know what was coming until the food was brought to your table) just wasn't to my liking. And honestly, judging from what other people were ordering around us, the chef's selection was far from the more popular selections. That might've been the whole point, but it gave me the sense that I didn't get a good representation of what people liked at West Bridge. I walked away from dinner thinking perhaps I should've opted for making my own selection instead. Loved the decor, the ambience and the ingenuity of the food, which together made me feel like I was back home in California.

The food is fine, some items better than others, but the one thing that is such a thorn on everything else good is the god awful level of noise. When the server cannot hear what I'm trying to order, that is a problem. I get that the studies (and monetary results so far) merit continuing to make these modern restaurants abuzz with noise and energy, making it seem hip and therefore attractive to the masses, but I do think with West Bridge a line has been crossed. If I can't talk with the person next/across from me, I might as well just eat alone, or better yet, stay home and eat there and not pay the tip to the server who can't service me because he can't hear me. Or I'll go down the street to one of the other splendid, abundant restaurants available where I don't need to scream and shout and feel pained.

Great unique food, good place to try out new stuff. Awesome service. Very nice atmosphere and cute patio. The place is expensive though!
