Sometimes I just have to shut up and create music to clear my head.
You know what I mean?
I am a BIG fan of electronic music from old school to current.
Drums are the only sampled sounds I use but I will bend them to my will. ;-)
All other sounds are made to suite my mood and the developing track.
Knobs are moved and sliders are pushed. Distortion, echo, compressors and anything else is used to manipulate sounds I like.
It's all done on screen and with my old school Yamaha SY85 keyboard.
I love writing music for fun and pleasure. I'm not out to conquer the world but feedback (good or bad) is always welcome and appreciated.
I played guitar & bass for a while but gave it up for the keyboard and mouse.
You might notice the "guitar player" influence in some of my tracks.
No electric or acoustic guitars were used or harmed in making my music.
I like to keep it simple or I get bored and never finish.
In the short time I have been on Sound CloudI have been introduced to some amazing song writers and incredible music from guitar gods to white noise specialists and everything else in between. Inspiring stuff!!
By the way.......... I'm not a " Dj" even though I have owned SL1200's. (DjVesnick) is a nickname my daughter gave me when she was small, not that long ago, and it stuck ;-)
