A lofty, red-walled bistro in a shopping center with a mostly Japanese menu & a wide sake selection.- Google
"Honestly the best sushi I've ever had, and that's saying a lot."
"They gave us a modified ketchup as dipping sauce too."

Great plating, great prices. Hidden gem, if you can find it, you won't regret it. Update: They've added all you can eat sushi, but keep in mind if you order too much and don't eat it, they will charge. And they should, it's not fair to a business if you're not actually EATING the food you ordered. The portions of sushi are generous, not usually little slivers of fish. The busboy is on top of water refills (a peeve of mine is being thirsty and not having water), and the sushi chefs are helpful. I submitted a photo of one of their 50-60 dollar plates, easily enough food for three large eaters. The all you can eat is 25 dollars on weekends, I think 17 on weekdays? It's not cheap, but you won't regret it.

The sushi was unbelievable!!!!! Went there on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Staff was friendly, portions were big, and the fish was fresh. If you are looking for great sushi this is the place. The quality was not something I expected to find in Connecticut.

Alright, lets get aesthetics out of the way. This place looks awful inside and it's inside a commercial / office building (which is a mess because they're renovating). While the food is fairly good, and the plating is well done, don't expect a beautiful restaurant. PRO: Tons of creative special roll options. They have an entire menu wall of special rolls. It can be difficult to read them from a far though. Great plating (check out my pic) Fairly quick service Fresh flavors Only local place I've found Japanese soda (the one with the cool bottle and marble) CON: Ugly red paint inside Horrible location Place is a little cramped so you can over hear staff discussions, and they're always walking by your table Fried food can be overcooked. Tried the calamari and it was miserable. They gave us a modified ketchup as dipping sauce too... Wasn't a fan

This place spends time making sure their presentation is done right. Nice decor, authentic cuisine, nice ambiance - not awkwardly quiet like most suhsi places.

This is a great place to get a wide selection of sushi and sake. The bento lunches are a nice touch. Service can be a bit slow at times (not talking about sushi prep time) but the food is worth the wait.

If you're able to find this location, it will be one of the best sushi places you'll ever find. The huge negative is that the restaurant is located in the bottom of a large building complex with little or no signs to direct you. However if you do find the area, you'll be glad you searched. While the decor is nothing to be amazed at the real reason to visit is for the sushi. Each plate is carefully hand crafted and designed with the utmost care. The sushi is always organized in a creative manner to bring delight to a patron' eyes. But what is most important is the food. Well fear not because the quality of the fish is fantastic! I'd suggest going with the special the chefs are concocting that night as its always delicious. If the location was better, this certainly would be a five star establishment.

Just finished the Sushi / Sashimi 50$ combo plate...BORING plain unexciting standard cheap fish !!!...Eel was right out of a package...sliced so thin and cheaply plated...never been served such a cheap assortment of fish anywhere...Nigiri sushi fell apart...rice was not sticky enough for serving...Tuna, Salmon..Nasty whitefish...fake crabmeat ...absolutely the worst display of 50$ I was ever served anywhere...Please Glastonbury residents...Go somewhere...this is not IT!!! ...They even plated up some disguisting shredded cheap all white end Iceberg lettuce with tiny tasteless bairly visible they said "smoked salmon" with a soy dressing and gave it to us for free...It was so sad a display of what I do not know...I leave this review for the real Sushi / Sashimi eaters...not the fad driven residents who barely leave the area they live in...ANd for the real people not swayed by unreal google reviews

The location is poor, but the sushi is fantastic! Located in the back of a corporate building that I had previously thought was a residential building, is a wonderful sushi place. As we walked down the hallway and went down the stairs to find the restaurant, we discussed turning back. I'm so glad we didn't! Several items on the menu sounded good so we decided to just order and split several rolls. The rolls that were delivered were unique, delicious, and HUGE! This was such a good find!
