My girlfriend & I drove over an hour to go specifically to the Robinson Center Drive store. We ordered the Ragin' Cajun Steam Pot as she had ordered it some time ago and said that it was absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 cocktails in the mean time and waited for our meal. When it came out we were very disappointed as there were 4 shrimp, 2 small crab clusters, a medium sized potato that had been cut into 6 small pieces, sausage & an ear of corn. Upon cracking the crab legs we found very little meat. Being disappointed we brought this to our waitress' attention. She said that she'd speak to the manager and he came over to our table approximately 7 minutes later. After seeing what I described he returned to the kitchen and had the chef throw in one more crab leg cluster and a few more shrimp. He nor the waitress seemed very concerned about anything. We ended up boxing everything up and left your the store hungry. While we eat out often and understand that mistakes are made from time to time it was both the low quality of our food as well as the lack of concern from the employees. Especially the manager. Our meal totaled $44.00 (with the tip) and that was unacceptable. We are very disappointed.

3rd trip to this joes. Food took forever, 4 of the 6 got sick hours after leaving. Bad fishy smell when you walk in the doors. Sat 6 of us at 2 different tables that couldn't move, hassled me about asking for bigger table so all 6 could sit together. If every joes is like this, I will never go to another again.

This place is s*** the kitchen is disgusting all the Food is precooked prepackaged free frozen then thrown in the microwave and serve to you there were ants in the kitchen it's disgusting don't ever eat there not less you like microwave food trifling I saw a line cook chewing tobacco then spit it directly on the floor multiple times near his station then the line dropped a bag of crabs on the floor then threw it into the pot of boiling water and served it to a customer the line cooks or filthy the kitchen is filthy I would never recommend anybody to eat here I'm surprised no one died of food poisoning yet even the manager himself chews tobacco well in the kitchen the servers when the food is up on the past they sit there and eat french fries off the plate they don't have gloves and their finger in your food and eating it before you get to it just trust me don't eat there

Apparently it is now a company policy that customers are not allowed to tip the servers here? Won't eat here again.

As we live over 100 miles away, this place was a treat we had looked forward to in the past. Last Saturday's visit may be our last. Place was not busy and we were seated immediately. But waitress was iffy... slow on drink order as she was busy chatting with others, and we had to ask for the soup we ordered 2 times... she blamed it on others. While appetizers were very good, entrees were FAR smaller portions than previous visits and was served luke warm to cold. Food was not fresh, corn was inedible, potatoes undercooked, seafood was all too obviously frozen and microwaved, mussels served with shell unopened (aka, bad shellfish) and bill was through the roof. Very sad as we used to LOVE this place!

Drove 2 1/2 hours to visit this Joe's Crab Shack as my parents have done twice prior, my first visit. My parents raved about this place and it's the only place my mother wants to go for her birthday. The atmosphere and energy was great. For the most part the service was good, a little mix up with the check, but it was resolved. The food was great for the most part. My wife's portion was a little small in the sides department. My father's steak was overcooked, but the thing that really got the low score for food was the bean towne bake my mother ordered. This is all she wants on her birthday, and being in the restaurant business selling lobters in Maine, let me tell you, we know good lobster. The lobster tasted as if it was cooked, left to sit and reheated. It was well over done and very hard to chew. My mother, who only wanted this for her birthday, and has had a lot of success with it before, just shook her head saying "that was a big disappointment." Let me also say the manager did make it right, however, it still left the trip with a sour note. Overall, the experience was a great one, just be careful Joe's on what you serve your customers!!
