So yummy. The brisket and pulled chicken are so tasty. I love the Mac and cheese, potatoes salad, mashed potatoes and cornbread. They even give you homemade donuts which Are the bomb. Luckily it's so close to me, I can't wait to go back

The three meat combo was huge portions and really good meats. We added extra BBQ sauce and the baby back ribs were excellent! Love the atmosphere, great service and friendly staff. If you are from out of town probably one of the best places that are not a typical chain restaurant. Better than the rest!

This is my family's second attempt to Bobby Q's. We were sat inside this time and the atmosphere was extremely dark. While each table was lite up by a spotlight that made you feel like your on stage. My Rib Eye was $33.00 dollars and was the most bland piece of meat I have ever had. A nice BBQ house should have this down pat. My wifes Prime Rib was decent. As far as service is concerned, we were inundated with people asking how everything was. We were asked 4 times by 4 different people in less than 5 min after we recived our food. Overall my family spent $150 and we all left feeling like we had been robbed!

Luke, I'm really sorry if you didn't have a good time here, or if you felt like our servers were pestering you. We just want to make sure everyone is enjoying everything, and I apologize if we were at all overzealous. Simply the best BBQ restaurant I have ever been To! I've been to Rudy's, Phill's, The Bear Pit, Jaspers, Road House, Dickey, Famous Dave's and many others. Bobby Q's has the best tasting meats and sides hands Down! It is a must have for my family everytime we go to Phoenix.

Amazing Bbq came all the way from CA to eat here and they had a 2 hour wait. So the hostesses said i can get my food to go in under 20 mins. So i had the best bbq in the world in there parking lot.

Great BBQ, but sometimes the kitchen has some consistency issues. Steamed vegetables (which, clearly aren't the best thing at a BBQ joint) came out undercooked the last two visits. We selected a piece of cake for dessert (for the table) and later, the runner was shocked to know we weren't the table getting the brownie a la mode. Our server came back a few minutes later with the same brownie, and told us, essentially, "LOL, that's what the cake looks like today" and left it on the table. We didn't *mind* the brownie, but it sure wasn't what we ordered. :(

Matt, thank you for the review and the feedback on what we can do better. While we definitely think overcooking the veggies would be worse than undercooking them, we obviously shouldn't do either, so I'll look into how that happened. And I sincerely apologize for the mix-up with your dessert. That won't happen again. Is this place connected to or owned with the Q Lounge? I was allowed to enter during today to purchase food, but at night I've never been treated so differently in my life. I got food in the day , and it was fantastic the Q-lina pulled pork sandwich is to die for. I was in business attire, went back to the lounge and was told " No thugs are allowed here" I was in raulph Lauren slacks leather loafers and Polo Shirt from earlier when I was served at the restaurant side with a smile and table side visits from the manager to see how things were. Two other black guys ahead of me were told to go back to the hood because of their clothes. Two white guys in the hispanic guy for able to walk right in wearing similar straight leg pants, not baggy. My wife and her two girlfriends are already inside, they were taking me out to celebrate my master's degree in engineering. I cannot believe it, I am a decorated Iraq war veteran, highly intelligent and I am not now nor have I ever been a thug. My boss was one of the white gentleman who were allowed to walk right in after I was turned away, and he was wearing a D-backs Jersey , made me Furious when I was told to catch the city bus back to the hood, I drive a Maxima.

When the restaurant closes, the club opens, but it's totally different staff and management, complete with their own Google+ reviews page. I'm glad to hear that you were happy with your meal when you were here (at BobbyQ) during the day, and I just hope you won't let the service you got at the club keep you away from what I hope will be some of your favorite BBQ. I took a group of 7 here. They were really busy but there was a lot of people working. We hung out at the bar and had a drink while we waited. I liked this set-up since we were already starting to drink before we even sat down. Lots of great restaurants have this feature but most places in Phoenix are missing out on this. Everyone got something different but it was all good. We will be back.
