I don't like the fact that it's a fixed set of books. We should be able to select the images of the books we own, then buy them and paste them on the poster!

I have high expectations from the adaptation of American Gods and the trailer looks pretty damn impressive.

That new god in the limo did look appropriately smug.

TIL Nigerians, Germans and Bulgarians don't ever get erect.

So this is why ladies love the French men. ;-)

(Serious note: the study doesn't seem to have all measured data, some are self-reported.)

I would like TV to be like this in my country by the end of this decade. Not gonna happen, I know, but I gotta dream anyway.

Currently I don't watch anything on cable TV other than the live sports. The format is too archaic.

+Michael Birke I suspected you would know more about ther service given it's in your neighbouring country. I would love to see an online streamer support more than just American, Canadian and British content. Foreign content on Netflix is too low. There's lot of exciting east asian, european and south asian content. But getting those license rights would be close to impossible for anybody in the current scenario.

What spin-offs are most likely?
Though the episode count -- and a potential spinoff -- remain big questions.

I think I messed up my elbow this time.

I keep doing this. When I had a 20 day break from work during Skyrim's release, I started slowly, but then got sucked into it hard and clocked around 120 hours in 13 days. I think I played 14+ hours a day the last three days and had to decide enough is enough and quit.

I have been playing games very little since then to accoodate my aging body. When I played Witcher 3 last year, I consciously tried to limit my game time for a while but the game was too good, far better than any RPG I have ever played, and I started playing 8+ hours a day. I got pain in my right thumb and right knee and had to dial it down. Both got better in about a week.

Now I rediscovered my hardcore WoW days by playing GW2 pretty seriously this time(first time since release, I had always played this game pretty casually so far), I have been playing regularly for the past 40 days or so, getting my Elementalist geared fully in Ascended armour set, progressing to highest T4 level fractals, failing a lot, learning a lot, downing two of the raid bosses, getting all professions except Thief to 80, gearing all of them in Exotics+Ascended gear, etc.

Three days ago I started playing with my new Logitech g502 mouse which is heavier than my old g402 mouse. Today I woke up with an elbow pain and I don't know if I have been playing too much or if it's the new mouse. I'll cut down my time on playing GW2 and see if the elbow heals in about a week. I'm back to my old mouse for now.

And the main reason to make this post: Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns is available till 27th July for 50% discount. You can upgrade core GW2 game or get both the core game + the expansion for the same price(USD 25 for Standard edition).

It's amazing how many of the top spoken languages are spoken in India. I see Hindi, Marathi, Malay, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Urdu, and Punjabi(labelled Lahnda...never heard that name before). I can speak Hindi, Telugu and Urdu among these, and I can understand Punjabi to an extent.

I didn't know Spanish is this commonly spoken!

Germans learn English early on, in East Germany Russian was also common. Then you pick either French or Latin usually, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese are not taught at schools much, Spanish is the most common to get an extra course at many schools.

What we don't learn are Scandinavian languages or Turkish, or Hungarian. Portuguese is also rather rare. Italian is popular as Germans usually love Italian things and going on vacation there. We also rather see the Dutch talk a bit German than the other way round.

Germans have a lot of consonants in their words and very long words as German allows combining words to long ones,, so we tend to end every word hard with a pronounced and distinctive stop instead of binding words together. The final sounds of words are usually hardened and glottal stops creating explosive sounds also enhance the pronunciation of every single word.

So it's a great language for shouting. You should hear the German version of Star Trek Klingons, Or Drill Instructors. Sounds a lot more aggressive.

They even put bookmarks where the characters die in each of the books. Good effort.

Play old console games in your browser(with Falsh player) though many games seem to lag a lot for many people.

Though the method feels a bit flawed but inteesting results nevertheless.
Nobody should be surprised to see Adam Sandler at the top end of the list.
Some actors have zero movies with negative metacritic ratings!

My question: Are critics harsher on comedy, horror and action movies or do these genres see more than average low-effort productions in general?

Who among Hollywood's actors and actresses most routinely appears in the worst-reviewed films? And who always win critics' praise? We turn to the data to find out.
