Keep it simple. Make it last.

With VAC amplification instruments high performance comes with no need for rare, obscure, or single-manufacturer vacuum tubes. This means you can enjoy your VAC product today, tomorrow, next month, next year...for generations.

We like to call it "heirloom-hifi" and build them to last for generations of music lovers.

A rare moment:  A VAC owner loans his own, personal VAC Statement amplification instruments to two manufacturers so that they might present their speakers, turntable, and equipment stands with the best amplification for a trade show.

You really do not see this everyday. We like to say, "Once you go VAC, you can't go back." Our products from our earliest amplifiers to today's "state of the vacuum tube art" products such as the Phi 200, Sigma 160i, and Statement 450 tend to garner a sense of dedication in their owners. Heirloom-quality amplification instruments, for generations to enjoy...

Once again we offer Peter Breuninger at #AVShowrooms our heartfelt thank you for the effort he makes to share with those not able to attend high end audio events.

Here, speaking with an unmatched #technical understanding of his products and audio circuitry in general, Kevin Hayes also shares a bit of his sense of beauty, as well as his great sense of humor for the AV Showrooms camera at #ces2015 .

Our continued thanks as well to +Dynaudio, #dCS Ltd., Shunyata Research, and Brinkmann Audio .

Sometimes it pays to be comparatively small and unassuming:

Paul Bolin of The Audio Beat included our "small system" at #CES2015 in his latest report on "Manageable Systems." And he then included it in his Best of Show report as well.

"I also have to mention two physically small-footprint systems that charmed me well beyond the ordinary and deserve a highly honorable mention."

"The smaller VAC/Dynaudio system was a complete delight"

Kevin Hayes and VAC do not try to purely focus on the "statement" end of things, our Sigma 160i SE, while financially not-insubstantial, makes a #statement of its own: #music .

Go hear it! +The Audio Company of Marietta; EMBER Audio + Video of Winston-Salem; Elite Audio Coffee Bar of San Francisco; David Michael Audio of Detroit - these folks can shake your hand and play you music power by VAC / Valve Amplification Company!

Our most affordable, yet still hand-made #heirloomhifi   #amplifier  the Sigma 160i integrated amplifier driving one of #highendaudio 's "reference" loudspeakers, the +FOCAL, the Spirit of Sound Grande Eutopia Em. Perhaps a mis-match with regard to price, but sonically the Sigma made them sing during our initial setup for #rmaf2014.

http://bit.ly/1ySG9XI Alan Sircom of +Hifi Plus stopped by our #ces2015  room and shares a bit of information on our new Master Preamplifier.

We like to think of the Master as son of the Statements! Regardless it's another #heirloom  audio piece in Kevin Hayes' puzzle!

A collage (from an earlier International #ces2015   Facebook post) that shows the Sigma 160i SE with and without its concurrently/appropriately well-made, massive, and simply elegant "heirloom quality" glass/metal tube cage.

#VAC / Valve Amplification Company makes pure #tube amplification that directly compares in many ways with the ultra high-end solid state electronics from #soulution that so struck Jim Hannon of +The Absolute Sound  as his "Most Coveted Product" at #ces2015 . "However," Jim continues, "the new VAC Sigma 160i SE is also a gem and more within my budget."

Despite its designation as VAC's entry level amplifier, the Sigma 160i, like all VAC products, is made with a goal toward longevity, reliability, and ease of "re-tubing" with highly accessible vacuum tubes. Another way to say it is, "corners have not been cut and Kevin Hayes has put 25 years plus of thought into his designs."

VAC is designed to both make beautiful music AND last for generations.

Some might call that the definition of an "heirloom."
