Creative selection of burgers & sausages along with an old-time soda fountain & outdoor seating.- Google
"Great tater tots, but the regular fries and sweet potato fries are good too."
"Also need some live music, German or other wise, in a Bier Garden."

Let me preface this review by saying I think we all know to take many of these with a grain of salt. When I posted this review on another site, within hours it was buried into the "not recommended" list for no particular reason. Ironically there were many reviews hidden there as well that were negative, and also no apparent reason to be flagged. We all understand there's issues with bogus reviews but mostly no rhyme or reason for why they're flagged. Regarding this review, it's due to them randomly closing their doors on Jan 5. After driving 45 mins to eat there the note on the door simply said closed for tonight. No emergency, no busted pipes or without electricity. Just decided to not open that night for whatever reason. Never have seen a place that's scheduled to be open on a given night do that. And that the only form of communication is a vague note on the door. Very odd to say the least. They might have great food, but they didn’t provide me the opportunity. The 4.5 stars average they get on another site seems somewhat bogus due to all the flagged negative reviews.

The vibe there was pretty cool, typical hipster crowd. Long wait (which was expected) I'm guessing because it seemed more like a place to sit and grab a beer. The entire back of the menu was full of selections of beer, the burger selection is opposite. Okay, on to the burger-- I ordered a regular cheese burger, medium-well with typical topings. I received a well-done burger (no biggie, I was starving by then) which definitely was nothing to brag about. The fries were good (not skimpy "air-fries" as I call them) Overall-- There are waaaaay better burger places in Nashville. I fell into the hype of Pharmacy Burger and I was definitely disappointed. It's an okay place but with waiting time included it's not worth it.

It gets pretty busy at night, even on a weekday, so just be prepared. As it's a gentrified area still under work, parking is bad and you'll most likely end up parked on a curb in the nearby residences. However, that was some of the tastiest food I've had. The fries were seasoned and crispy, the burger was juicy and complemented by the garlic aioli sauce. Sodas are delicious and sweet! Get past the parking and large crowd.. and you'll be happy you did!

The best food we ate in Nashville at a great price! Loved eating outside, but the only heated outdoor part is a waiting area, so a mid-50s evening got chilly quickly! German potato salad is the best and we all ordered extra because it was SOOOOO good! The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars, is the hostesses were a bit snippy and the bartender finished his convo and water with a friend before serving us. If in Nashville, make time to check out The Pharmacy!

It was good, but the burger meat was a little too tough for my liking and the sweet potato fries were soggy. The cheese burger was still very yummy with their garlic sauce , just not what I was expecting based on the fabulous reviews I had read. Their regular fries were really good and crispy. Their homemade cream soda was different and good.. But I probably wouldn't order it again.

Visited Nashville for the weekend with a girl friend of mine, ended up ditching the second restaurant we had planned to go to and did 2 nights of dinner here. Parking is a bit limited and the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but the burgers are amazing and the selection of craft sodas and beers was fantastic. The first night was gorgeous out so we sat out in the biergarten and loved it. Second night was pretty chilly and way more busy with a 45 min wait. Service lacked the second night, and we were inside sitting at a bar bumping elbows with strangers. So avoid it on the weekends unless the weather is nice enough to sit outside.

The sausage is better than the burgers. There, I said it. I came here with a friend from out of town since the Holland House we planned to go to was incredibly busy. I opted to try another burger and got the farm burger, while she got a Jager sausage. She ended up splitting the sasage with my and I shared my burger, and much to my surprise, the sausage tasted pretty amazing. The burger was the same as I felt before - slightly above average and nothing more. But again, the house made sausage was delicious! It had a lot of flavor and didn't feel greasy and was just the right texture and not too salty either. Quite good. So now I can really say I'll be back.... for the sausage sandwiches they offer. And tasty cream sodas.

This place used to be amazing but they have grown too big too fast. Now it's a cult hangout of sorts. The wait times are too long. I don't blame them for that. But the service is lacking. The choice of beers makes up for all of it however. They used to be, and still are, a great place for some amazing beers. Vegetarians have always had two burger choices: black beans and falafel. I wish there were more.
