Any I/ON registration this year?

Anyone know who the band is during after hours at #io14 ? Usually they announce this during the keynote.

Any plans to bring back "highlight my level 8's on portals"?  I love this feature.

HeatSink/Multi Hack Question
--------------------------------------------

I am on a mission to create the ultimate farming spot.  I have a set of 3 portals that are only reachable on foot.  My goal is to put 3 Very Rare HeatSinks on each as well as a very rare multi-hack on each.  I am well on my way; however, I am not seeing the results that I expected.

On Portal 1 I have 3 common HeatSinks and a VR MultiHack.  So when I hack I expect to see the following hacking rate:  3 C HS  = 300 * 0.8 * 0.8 * 0.8 = 153.6 s cooldown.  However, when I immediately hack again it states that I have 240 seconds until cooldown.

On Portal 2 I have 3 Rare HeatSinks and a VR MultiHack.  So when I hack I expect to see the following hacking rate:  3R HS  = 300 * 0.5 * 0.5 * 0.5 = 37.5 s cooldown.  However, when I immediately hack again it states that I have 120 seconds until cooldown.

On Portal 3 I have the ultimate farming node, a portal with 3 very Rare HeatSinks and a VR MultiHack.  So when I hack I expect to see the following hacking rate:  300 * 0.3 * 0.3 * 0.3 = 8.1 s cooldown.  However, when I immediately hack again it states that I have 30 seconds until cooldown.

So, I must say that I am disappointed.  The ultimate farm is less fertile than I was led to believe...especially given how hard it is to come by these VR mods.

Can anyone explain why I am seeing numbers that do not add up to the widely posted mathematical models of Heat Sinks?

ION Registration has begun.  Nice to see that the Googler I spoke to at the Atmosphere Maps event was wrong.  So, I have to give +Vic Gundotra some props since he did take care of his IONs.

What? No Google ION registration for I/O 2013. A Googler just confirmed this to me. Come on +Vic Gundotra, take care of the faithful and loyal.

Google I/O 2012 registration has begun...for I/ONs at least. $900 this year. Totally worth it. See you there.
