I do not say this lightly.... THIS IS THE BEST BEEF PANANG CURRY I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! Words cannot describe the buttery, smooth curry that has slow-cooked prime beef soaking and marinating. It literally melts in your mouth. LITERALLY. Now put that over coconut sticky rice and for $10 you have one of the best lunches of your life. Great for sharing. we go ..... now that I started thinking about it, it will posses my mind until I can taste it's delectable goodness again....... uummmm.....

I love Isaan food. In case you don't know, that's Northeastern Thai food that mostly consists of sour and spicy salad of some nature (e.g. papaya salad, larb, etc), grilled meat with dipping sauce, and sticky rice. When I heard that a joint called Sticky Rice opened in Grand Central Market, I was dying to try it. When I saw that the Tiger Cry was $15, I was a little reluctant to get it but I'm so glad I did. So it is a little expensive but it's the best Thai grilled beef I've had. Th quality of the meat was magnificent and it was perfectly cooked to medium rare. They give you this delicious dipping sauce, a bag of sticky rice, and some papaya salad. The portion on the papaya salad is small and it wasn't too flavorful. They don't have a large variety on their menu but there is a specials board off to the side. I believe that the specials menu is constantly changing. I will definitely come back to try their grilled chicken, which is listed on their regular menu. The wait for the food was quite long. I had to wait close to 20 minutes for my order. They do take credit cards. You can park in the adjacent structure for free as long as you get a validation.

We tried tom yam soup and grilled pork neck. Both were a bit too salty and lacks spice fragrance. From Asia, we are maybe too stringent. But I did have very good Thai food in London so this still pales in comparison.
