By far the best burger I've ever had. Everything is a bit pricy, but you pay for what you get in service, and quality of food.

Crazy fast service on a Saturday night. The place is big but doesn't feel impersonal. Warm decor. Very clean. They have a wine tasting room. Fish tacos were good. Onion rings were great.

Food is awesome. Happy hour is the best in Cannon Beach. Prices are such a steal. Some of the best nachos ever! However... screaming children are welcome in the designated bar area. Happy hour is only served in the "bar area", which is the same area that welcomes ALL ages (as long as they are not bellied up to the bar.) It is 103% faster to order from the bartender than the bar server.

What can I say, this place pretends to be a moderately nice place well right up to the point you sit down and start experiencing the terrible service and horrible food. The pirme rib was on special so, against my better judgment no to order steak except from a steakhouse, I ordered that and found it to be extremely tough and bland. I asked for the rarest piece they had and still it was tough. I have never had a prime rib this bad before. I had also asked to have some crab added to the side; it was a tiny dish of warmed crab meat that tasted very unfresh (perhaps even reheated). My wife had the alfredo and it had the illusion of tasting good at first but like a McDonald's french fry turned back to plastic after it cooled down even a little. I must say I did love the salad and the honey mustard salad dressing; it actually made me believe I was about to be in for a real treat despite all the errors the waiter was making. Unfortunately this only made the realization that it was no better than a reheated frozen meal all the more bitter. And the dessert (the souffle) that you rightfully should think we would not have bothered to order but did so anyway was also a horrific disappointment. And to top it all off this is one of those restaurants who likes to chage the prices of a nicer place without putting in the work of being a nicer place assuming that customers who have no taste will flood the place simply because the price implies its better and to top it off will no doubt publish rave reviews to that effect lest they be perceived as not in the know. But, if you want an honest opinion from someone who doesn't care whether his taste corresponds to the hype or that he is perceived in any way other than someone who speaks his mind then pay a little heed to this review. I will never eat at this restaurant again unless I am in the mood for some of the salad and willing to deal with the horrible service.

The service was OK, and the drinks we got tasted good, but were really weak. This would probably be a good place to bring a large group of people. The food though was very mediocre. We had the nachos and ribs which were both fine but nothing special. The bar is setup well though. I would come back to watch some games and have a beer. Just wouldn't order food again.

My humans eat Lumberyard a lot! They really enjoy the pleasant staff and the menu variety. The high quality of the ingredients is reflected in the quality of the food, the result is quality food at a reasonable price. They bring home the YUMMIEST bites of food for my sister and me! When the weather is pleasant the the Lumberyard provides a place to dine outsited and welcomes us along with other polite dogs. We really like the whole adventure of eating out and at the Lumberyard the food suites us just fine.
