Good family style dishes, servings small for the prices. I enjoyed the food, everything was great. Only disappointment were the spring rolls, stay away from those. Overall, it has a good vibe, I would come back here with a group, very enjoyable experience.

We tried: Untraditional asian pancake, lemony shrimp potsickers, fish taco, and octopus and arctic char roll. For drinks: blood lust and pineapple express. Everything was so different than what we excepted, except the fish taco. That was a perfect fish taco. The asian pancake was the only thing I did not think was amazing. It was like a puffy scallion pancake that didn't have much scallion flavor in it (but the sauce was great). The potstickers were spring roll shaped, but they were amazing. So lemony, so shrimpy, so crispy. The octopus was great, but the corn was better! The sauce complemented it so well. The arctic char roll was deep fried. I thought there would be another crispy aspect to it, but it was the roll itself! The fish took on the nori taste wonderfully, and the sauce with it was great. Perfect amount of spice, not too bad. The bloodlust was amazing. Again, perfect amount of spice. Pineapple express didn't have much pineapple to it, almost tasted like I was drinking pureed basil, which wasn't a bad thing because it wasn't the texture of that! Service was great, everything came at different times and they warned us about that. Had a great description of the restaurant and how everything is meant to share. Always had a different person so I'm pretty sure they share the tips at the end of the night, which is interesting as you don't see that often.

Superb. Tried the mussels, miso-glazed carrots, charred udon noodles, Szechuan dan-dan noodles, and spring rolls. They were all phenomenal. The mussel broth was one of the best I've ever had. And I could not stop eating the miso-glazed carrots! Loved the decor. Classy, hip and artistic without being overwhelming. Wish I lived in Boston so I could go regularly!

I loved the food here. The vegetarian menu is fantastic. Clearly not an afterthought like many other places. Try the mustard green, edamame, wasabi potstickers!!

Great spot, but be sure your group is ready to share and eats about the same stuff. There's a great variety and the quality is solid. It's not necessarily unique flavors or fancy, but the general mood and decor is easy and fun. The menu items are good. I think I've been a few times and have tried almost everything on the menu. Depending on your level of spice and whether you want meat or noodles or rice-- there are options for everyone. Ask about their vegetarian menu-- I was impressed at how willing they were to make adjustments for our guests who were vegetarians. That said... I don't know that I would recommend going with a mixed group. The food came as it was ready and ironically ALL the meat dishes came out first. I've been with a group of friends that shared everything and the timing and pace worked out well. The cocktails are great too. Great selection of unique and delicious cocktails all within a similar vein, so the food and cocktails actually work out! Worth a visit!

Went on a Tuesday for my boyfriends birthday and date night! We ordered the Seaside Date for $45 and an order of pork buns. Everything was very flavorful, and each dish had a lot of scallions. My favorite was the green papaya slaw and the salmon tartare. I've never had anything like it! It was also a refreshing and light start for the next courses to come. Also the pork buns were my personal go-to. My boyfriend thought it was too fatty, but the bun was perfectly soft and the meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. The dishes came out really quickly, to the point where we finished our meal in like 30 minutes. Fast, attentive service with great food! There are a lot of things I have yet to try from Myers + Chang and so I'll definitely be back!

I've only been here once to try the Cheap Date Night menu, but I can easily say that Myers and Chang is one of my favorite spots in Boston. The service and food were wonderful and i loved the funky atmosphere. We were greeted with friendly smiles by all of the staff and our waitress was attentive and great at explaining the menu/ restaurant concept. The food was delicious and I loved the cheap date night menu. The menu was creative and was such a great value! For only $40 a couple you can choose 1 price fixed menu, which comes with 5 different plates. We went with the pig out option, which came with pork dumplings, pork buns, triple pork mushu stirfry, green beans almondine, and brown rice. The family style menu and the cute atmosphere really did contribute to the perfect date!

Easily located in the south end by the silver line or Bus 11 from Southie, the cute family style asian-american fusion restaurant hits the spot. The meals are served in tapas size so you usually can choose between 4-8 or more plates for 4+ people (my favorites are usually dumplings, pork lettuce wraps, and korean bbq sloppy joe) also complimented with amped- up pim's cup or 2. M&C also caters to the couples out there serving a cheap date night on Mon and Tues for $45 for the couple with pre-established menus that can't be substituted and reservations are a must.
