Both versions of your card are beautiful, Anita. I love the vibrant, bright one, with the hot-pink ribbon and psychedelic butterfly; your second design is calmer but just as pretty. Thanks for linking up both cards with the Dynamic Duos this week!

This image works so well with the one-colour challenge!  Love it! (although I'm supposed to be commenting on the sketch interpretation). Your card design is also great. Simple, but captures the essence of Michelle's sketch perfectly. Thanks for playing along with Atlantic Hearts. I'll be watching for your blog hop post! (Go, Canada).

The projects with the Aspen paper are so serene! I love your gift bags--they are beautiful and can be used again by the recipient--two gifts in one!

Love your clever take on the sketch challenge, Arlene, and the colours work great for a baby card! Fresh change from all the Xmas and Thanksgiving cards right now. Thanks for playing along at both Atlantic Hearts and Color my Heart.

EXCELLENT technique! I never thought of sanding the white core once its exposed. Also clever to use a strip of paper as your ribbon...Both cards are great, but I really like the second--more dramatic. Thanks for playing at both Atlantic Hearts and Color My Heart this week!

I like your nested layers (thanks to the Cuttlebug!) and pretty (hand-made?) flowers. Thanks for working double-hard at the Color My Heart dare this week!

The sketch and color combo worked out really well for your birthday card. I like how you emphasized the pp panels with inking in Pear. Thanks for joining Color My Heart this week!
