Here for a Mayo visit and stayed in a suite. Room to relax when not at the hospital. Kitchen and necessities so you can cook if don't want to eat out. Shuttle to Mayo if you need it. Hot and cold breakfast options and staff are delightful. Will definitely return here when we come back for future visits.

This has got to be one of the worst motels I've stayed in. I rarely write reviews but this was awful. The place is filthy and service is terrible. I tried to speak to the manager because he needs to know what is going on at his hotel but was informed that "It was not possible". So be it. Maybe he'll read this review.

We stopped here recently when the roads were too dangerous to continue to our destination (the evening of December 23rd 2015). This is honestly the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. We stayed on the upper level and had a living room area, kitchen with microwave and frigde, a comfortable and clean king bed, and even a skylight! It was like a mini unexpected vacation. On top of it, the front desk worker (wish I could remember his name) was very nice. He alerted us when we left one of our lights on in the car (otherwise we would have woken up to a dead battery) and helped us when one of the vending machines wasn't working well. I would highly recommend staying here and will likely stay here again in the future.

The room I got actually had a kitchen and felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Great place! The room was clean, included silverware / dishes, great breakfast in the morning, and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place & stay here again next time I am in Rochester (for pleasure or business)!

On the road for 6 nights prior to staying here at Rochester MN's Quality Inn off 17th on 1st and we were pleasantly surprised to find it just as quiet as hotels we have paid $100 more for downtown Rochester. The breakfast is similar to rival chains we stay at including the warm waffle that you get to make yourself. Some of the reviews seem a little angry. We are here for Mayo and I know some of the tests and wating can make you a bit touchy. But we would recommend this hotel to our mothers and our daughters. Safe, clean and just 5 minutes from Mayo. Easy signage to get us there.
