They will charge you for a state inspection, even when they don't do the state inspection. They told me they had to disconnect the battery for another service I had them perform on the vehicle and that's why they couldn't do the state inspection. Being a past licensed state inspector before, I understand why. But a shop like this, that specializes in high-end vehicles, I would have expected them to drive cycle the car for me, or at the very least not charge me for the state inspection they didn't perform. Then a few days later, by engine undercover almost fell off while driving. Almost got in an accident because of it. Did Lucas offer to replace the parts that were damaged due to their negligence? No. "Sometimes the screws get loose or stripped out." Really? You didn't stop to think about that when you removed the shield to change the oil? Hopefully your first experience with them is better than mine.

Just moved to town and our Acura needed some basic service. Kirby got me in quickly and took care of everything. The price was good for the service and there were no surprises. He explained that I would probably need to get my brakes replaced sometime in the next year, but put no pressure on me to do it right away as some mechanics are known to do. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be using this place for my auto care.

Went in with a check engine light problem . They also found a fuel leak and fixed that. The check engine light was an emission problem . I was charged for them trying to fix the emission problem, but they refunded my money when they could not fix the issue. Had to take care to dealer to be repaired. They were very honest and fair in dealing with my problem.

Love Lucas Auto Care! They helped me get my little car back on the road when the dealership couldn't/wouldn't. I drive a Smart ForTwo...not the most common vehicle on the road. It has a known issue that happens to my year vintage. Took it to the dealership several times and all I got was repairs that didn't really need to be made and a service manager that wouldn't listen. Lucas Auto Care not only listened, but followed up on my shared research and voila! the car was repaired. The customer service and follow up are the absolute best! In fairness, I will say they are not the most inexpensive auto repair shop, but they aren't the most expensive either...a good middle of the road price is the best way to describe the price range. That said, with such outstanding customer service, it's worth every penny to have Lucas Auto Care see to your vehicle.

Being a woman and not knowing so much about cars, I got SOOO tired of being dicked around by mechanics and shops who did quick/shoddy jobs on my vehicle. Not with this place. From the first phone call inquiring about their services, to the in-person customer service... all grade A quality. They checked my car, told me what needed to be done, which problems could wait a little longer to be fixed, and broke down the prices. Kirby had no problem showing me what/where the problems/fixes needed to be done on my car, and why, when I asked. Simple transactions, no pressure, in and out. That's what I call business.

I was looking for a new place to get my vehicles repaired/maintenance since I moved area. These place caught my attn because of the ratings. I called to get diagnostics done on one of my vehicles, so I took it in. Get called with results. (crankshaft sensor, Trans. leak n head valve gasket) Price if I wanted them to do the work 1137.00. I decided to take it to my original mechanic. The person attending me was doing a good job up to the point when I told him my decision. He got upset n rude after. Asked me why did I bring it to them n how come I just didn't go to my mechanic on the first place. I was going to complain to the manager but after getting his name (Kirby), his business card was right in front of me n it said Kirby General Manager. Not a good impression.
