Got to love Stihl chainsaws, a couple trees down over the road, torrential rain and freezing and it starts on the third pull and away we go

Spring is definitely in the air, the daffodils have started to come out and the Camelias are full of flowers. I'm planning on burning off this weekend in preparation of the coming fire season, although it feels a long way off. I also have managed to damage my back by trying to push start my Kombi van on my own..one day I will learn

Just upgraded to the latest version of Eclipse and installed the usual GWT plugins etc It is so much easier to deploy apps now onto Google Apps....now all I need to work out is how to get it to render differently for my iPhone instead of Chrome

A definite feeling of spring in the air (and a resurfaced road courtesy of the Shire of the Yarra Ranges)

I just went to install OS X Lion when I found out that my trusty five year old Core Duo Intel MacBook Pro isn't supported....although this isn't a huge issue today it is the beginning of the end for support for my Mac :(

Always amazed at the potency of our Aerobin - a highly efficient composter which eats all our household organic waste. Took the lid off yesterday and there is steam coming out of it. Expensive but worth it http://www.aerobin400.com/

So....if there are 10m people on Google I figure I must know a few of them....how do I connect up the people that I didn't invite, is there a way to cross-check with email addresses?

I've been using Melbourne's Bike Share to get around the city after buying a yearly subscription. The bikes are great, the wheels are wide enough that they don't get stuck in the tram tracks and you can buy a helmet from 7-Eleven's for $5 (and get a $3 rebate if you return it!). A very cool service and it cuts my commute time between NAB's offices. Check it out http://www.melbournebikeshare.com.au/

Spent most of the day putting new tin on my shed which has been damaged by branches falling on it. It feels like spring in the air, although it is really a month away at the earliest.
