I decide to go and try this place with my friends just before going there I started taking a look to the reviews. !Ops doesn't seems a good place to go and have dinner!.... It was kind of late whatever let me try. The place seems ok the customer service 9/10 , however the food was AWEFUL no taste at all I ask for a pincho. That meet had a weird taste like old meet seems like it was in the freezer for the last 10 years, and a little bid of simple rice that was it. The price ridicules. I swear to my self not to go back again none of mamajuanas olace. What a crap place. PEOPLE DO NOT WAISTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. And DEAR OWNER take an action about food bc ur food is aweful

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!! Hi, Just wanted to let you know what a horrible night I had here on Saturday, Oct. 18th. My girlfriend and I went to see Raulin Rodriguez perform. At 2:10AM the MC announces Raulin "ya viene de camino". Really!?!? At 2am?? We arrived around 11pm surprised to see there was NO DANCE FLOOR!! Just a whole bunch of tables all over the place. It didn't take long to realize all of those tables were going to be there all night and that there would be nowhere to dance. Also, it was even more disconcerting to see the staff moving people "out of the way" so they could set up even more tables in place of where they were standing. The little space we had to stand was taken little by little throughout the night by all the tables they kept adding at the last minute. We even inquired about bottle service so we could get a table (by the way with NOWHERE TO SIT) so we could have at least a little breathing room and maybe not get pushed and stepped on by the people who were trying to dance on the non existent dance floor. There weren't anymore tables available so we guessed they legally ran out of floor space to place tables. I even saw one of their employees suggest to one of their waitresses to add a table in front of the kitchen door, which obviously would have been a fire hazard. Thankfully, she said it wasn't possible but she did offered the customer the wooden railing separating a VIP area as a "table" for their bottle or hookah. After standing around and waiting for the performance for more than 3 hours we decided we'd had enough and left. We weren't the only ones leaving before the performance even started. It was my first time at this venue and definitely my last. I understand as a business they want to make money but you should take into consideration your clientele. It was very obvious their first priority and main concern was to make as much money as they could while sacrifing the quality of your service. They were not concerned if the customers had a good time or not. All they were concerned with was making money and more money. I would NOT recommend this place!!!

Food was good, service friendly but very overpriced. Also they accepted a tip but didn't mention that there is a service charge. I only found out later when I checked my bill that I tipped them twice. Latin music is great but very noisy with many guests standing up shouting walking between the tables. There are better places to go.

Went on a Sunday night. About 8. o'clock and had my choice of seats. There was a piano player and singer who played a guitar. They were good. Dancing between the tables but everyone who wanted to got up and danced. The food was good. Pricey but worth it. It may have been a surprise to some. The wine list was very fairly priced. The service was excellent. Every time we got up to dance they refolded our napkins. Poured the wine and keep the water glasses full. Had a great night.

Worst place ever to celebrate! DO YOURSELF AND YOUR WALLET A FAVOR and DON'T GO THERE! MamaJuana Cafe sucks A$$! Malditos desgraciados! LOL! After a horrible night on October 19, 2013 with the wait staff and manager, who doesn't know what the HELL she's doing, my girls and I ended up in Don Coqui! No drama. Big Fun, Good Times!
