Please join me on September 18th at the Tower Club in Tyson's Corner as Richa Badami interviews me at her popular Pause for Power luncheon. A young business woman I'm mentoring asked me recently who our target audience is at Blue Pencil Institute. I told her: Our target audience is career professionals who've had some degree of success in their careers but who want more. Our audience seeks to feel more rewarded, fulfilled and enthusiastic about the work they do every day. They believe they have a career, not a job, and take that career seriously. Our audience wants to develop and achieve goals. They need help figuring out what to do professionally. And they need to develop their communication, relationship-building and leadership skills.

I've just been selected to speak at the Virginia Women's Business Conference on November 21 in Leesburg, Virginia. My topic is the same as my most recent book: They'll Eat Out of Your Hand If You Know What to Feed Them.
