Have you been to your local public library lately? Even in smaller towns, the range of services and media offered are much more extensive than they used to be.

Who knew Winnie-the-Pooh was a Nazi sympathizer, Anne Frank was a pornographer, and "Green Eggs and Ham" was really propaganda for homosexual indoctrination?

Interesting trend. #news
Summary: More than half of those surveyed in a new Gallup poll said that the television is their main source for news, and about 21 percent chose the internet. Less than 10 percent said print newspapers are their main source.

William Shakespeare: the greatest of all playwrights and peddler of raunchy jokes.  And I do mean raunchy.  Warning: not for the genteel, even the genteel Shakespeare fan.  I'm not kidding.  Seriously, I'm not kidding.  Okay, I warned you.  All others, enjoy the iambic pentameter smut! #shakespeare #dirtyjokes

Here's a link to the Irish radio interview on "Swastika Nation." It comes about 8:30 minutes into the broadcast. The host was great and I had a lot of fun doing it! Let me know what you think.

Watch "Chicago Tonight" on Thursday night, 7:00 pm, WTTW Channel 11. I'll be interviewed with my co-author Michael Corcoran about our book "Hollywood on Lake Michigan" 2nd edition. I'll post a link to the broadcast as soon as it's available.

More television/radio/Internet interviews to come and soon on both this book and "Swastika Nation." Keep tuned to this space for details.

Trees planted in 1930s Germany to form a swastika in the forest plague the country today.

After years of lowering book prices, Amazon is offering smaller discounts on some books. Authors and small publishers said this put some books beyond an audience’s reach.
