Awesome prompt and post. Pets truly change our lives for the better. It's such a shame they only live for such a short time because the love and compassion they give far outweighs what we give them. I have no clue what we would have done without our dear Balboa, may he rest in peace, and are sweet bonus. So glad we adopted her and my son has a dog to grow up with.
Welcome to August's Secret Subject Swap. Again 13 brave bloggers picked a secret subject for someone else and were assigned a secret subject to interpret in their own style. Today we are all simultaneously divulging our topic...

I saw a post on facebook a three year old told a vet "I know why dogs only live a short time. They love us and are good, they don't need to learn that. So they need as much time as we do" or something similar to that. made me cry

#9 cracked me up, good one...and so true. I hate when I forget about post too.
Hello there and welcome to Top Ten Thursday! I've recently joined a group of bloggers who are given a theme for the week and asked to write their top ten (kinda like Letterman used to do). So here goes nothing... ...

love all the pics, but the avocado one is priceless. Such great parenting when child knows to stop and discipline himself...great lessons for adulthood.
Whether we like it or not, our lives are mirrors to our children. Often their actions are a direct reflection of the example they see in us....

That is my fear, that I will leave the house without one of my clothes on. I once wore two different shoes. It would be crazy. Love how you mess with people by spelling the name differently, tooooo funny. I

I have lived through forgetting to fully dress myself, and I can tell you it's as horrifying as you would think it could be.
Messing with people seems to be my little sister's hobby, so I truly believe she'd actually go through with naming her child like that.

Happy Birthday Colin. Weekday an awesome party. Oh boy mom, you totally rocked at creating one hell of a cool party. So clever and imaginative. Wow, some went home on their own? ?????

Yes, drink up after all those kids.
We've been fortunate to have a gorgeous September. Looking at the weather forecast for Colin's Birthday Party, things did not look very promising. The day before it had been pouring. I was praying for at least one hour with n...

They all live within half a mile from here, it's a quaint little village, and they are used to go to school on their own. I still make it a point to pick him up from parties myself, just to say thank you to the parents.
My friend and I had some red wine later 🍷

Never even got my son in. Made appointment for 4:15 wasn't even greeted at door, was asked my appointment time, then told the 4pm appointment was first and it was alreasy 4:15. She gave me a look as if too bad lady you and you're kid can deal with it, not even I'm sorry wer're running late. What is the point of making an appointment for your kid and rushing him from school to the place if they don't even keep appointment times? Went over to Otto2 and got him a better and cheaper haircut.

they used to have great printing services. Now neither their online ordering system or direct email work. I used the online ordering system and was told to email them directly instead because they don't always get the emails. Then when I emailed them directly, I NEVER heard back from them. Thankfully I have found a new place to print out projects.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We stayed here as a package through Sesame Place and it was a BIG mistake. The neighborhood was poor and the quality of the hotel was terrible. The first room didn't have a working AC and after being out all day NOT ONE PERSON checked on it, we finally got a new room at 7pm and the second room was missing a desk. The bathroom was NOT clean and had a dirty tub and pubic hair all over the floor. The bathroom smelled bad and there were cheap repairs all over instead of replacing broken doors and and walls. I felt dirty and needed to clean myself as soon as I got home.

Not the same. Only one bathroom working, some rides closed, no bags to bring home gingerbread houses. Huge disappointment. At least Anthony loved winning two animals from the games and getting a light up ornament necklace

My son has been attending Children's Academy since he was 6 months old. He now starts kindergarten in a few days. They have always been more than just a daycare/[preschool, they have been a 2nd family for us. The saying, "it Takes ad Village" has been proven with Children's Academy. I will forever be grateful for all they did for my son and our family.
