Successfully tested Kazam. Broadcasting to TwitchTV with audio voice over is looking stable enough.

Few minor updates to Kazam Screencaster. Fixed volume settings, added support for broadcasting to TwitchTV. I'll be making a new unstable release in the next few days.

If I had a jiff file that is one jigabyte long, I'd edit it in Jimp!

A patch I submitted after 12 hours of debugging and sweating. I think I have to find a new line of work.

Thanks for all the wishes everyone. You're the best! :)

May your sources compile and interpret flawlessly. In 2015 I wish you as little PHP and JavaScript as possible.

This is why I like the community. Kazam bugfix made it's way to Trusty and Utopic. Thank you guys.

Kazam 1.5.3 unstable PPA is in the build queue. New features:

- webcam support
- on screen keyboard and mouse click indicator
- broadcasting support YouTube Live
- other minor fixes and tweaks

Rejoice! :)

Kazam Screencaster received experimental support for broadcasting to YouTube Live. Yesterday I made a three hour live broadcast from Ubuntu 14.04. I took some time and played some Portal 2 and Kerbal Space Program.

At this moment support is still very experimental and you'll have to grab the latest version (1.5.2) from Launchpad.

Soon I'll be adding support for additional webcam stream, dual audio support and on screen click and keyboard indicators. Broadcasting will have the same options as screen recording.

For broadcasting, I will also add support for Twitch.

If anyone wants to play with it, you can get the latest source here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~kazam-team/kazam/unstable

Another preview of Kazam 1.5.x. This time webcam recording is complete. You can capture video from your webcam and you can turn on webcam window and have it captured while you are recording your screen.

As a bonus, +Stuart Langridge provided some plumbing for on-screen keyboard display.

You can grab the source code from Launchpad. I'll probably be making another unstable release during the weekend. It will be available in the Unstable PPA.
