Dear Chris,
It seems you aare getting intrest from all kind of fields.  If you bring all these benchmarks, we can imagine how brilliant this project mmight do.  The other day I was also reading about Baidu and BMW doing similar project for the roads of China.  It been nearly an year that we all are trying to get in touch and hear from you publically how you feel about bringing people on board from different spheres.  Having said that its a billion trillion dollars project whilst also contributing to the social cause-which you may have not yet considered it.  Self-driving vehicles (once successful)  will bring independence to the largest section of community that is visually impaired all over the world.  So please would be really nice to hear from you and give us a chance to make it a successful.

Dear Dr. Urmson,

I wanted to express my passionate interest in working with you to test and hopefully provide automated driving technology for use by disabled individuals. In the modern world, transportation is the greatest struggle for people with disabilities. This disadvantage prevents the disabled from being productive members of society, since employment opportunities are often difficult, if not impossible, to access. I believe that the automated driving technology currently being developed by Google will better the lives of the disabled once the technology is installed in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

I would like to be involved in the testing of this technology within a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, to not only document my experience with the vehicle, but to suggest possible improvements to the vehicle and the automated driving technology. By recording its effects on my quality of life, I believe I could provide hands-on examples of how it can improve the lives of those who have difficulty accessing both private and public transportation.

I was born with Cerebral Palsy and I have utilized an electric wheelchair my entire life. That being said, this has not prevented me from achieving anything. I am unable to drive; this not only makes me dependent on others for even the simplest of errands, but is now beginning to impact advancement in my career. After receiving my bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, I went on to earn a Masters in Social Work from New York University. I currently work as a Social Worker for Jawonio, an organization dedicated to helping disabled children and adults. I work with disabled adults like myself, helping them meet the challenges of living with disabilities. For many of the people I work with, your technology would change their lives, eliminating major limitations for so many, including myself.

I believe I could contribute valuable information during the development and testing process of this technology for use within wheelchair-accessible vehicles. In helping your team bring this technology to the world, I would be doing something with my life that I have only dreamed of until now.  If you would give me an opportunity to assist with this project, it would mean a great deal to me, and by extension, the disabled community. I look forward to speaking with you in the future.

Thank you,
Scott Salmon

It is great to hear a Pope speak this way. I hope he will influence the institution broadly.
Pope Francis said the Catholic Church must shake off an obsession with teachings on abortion, contraception and homosexuality and become more merciful, or risk the collapse of its entire moral edifice “like a house of cards.” In a dramatically blunt interview with an Italian Jesuit journal, ...

Wow. I was excited about this movie before, but after reading this review I'm completely in.

"Pacific Rim Review: Holy Sh-t That Was Great" http://feedly.com/k/1775nzB
One of the most important things any great action movie needs is a lead actor who can deliver an absurd line and have it sound awesome. One who makes you cheer instead of laugh when he says something that is by all rights laughable. Pacific Rim doesn't have one of those. But it still manages to be the best summer action movie since Independence Day.

In Cincinnati for the night stopping at the Millennium hotel. Front desk staff and restaurant folks were very friendly and the hotel seems nice enough.

Imagine my surprise when I discover that there is no way to turn the light on in the bathroom in my room. Some maintenance person has decided that a blank switch plate is as good as a switch. No joke.

Hi, I am visually impaired and think it is fantastic what you are doing! I'm sure that they will also be rentable for those who can't afford to own and or rarely need a car. I have one question, Would using fiber optics in all of our technology improve their performance?

Surprisingly pleasant experience of the day. Sitting on the terrace at the mall, surrounded by plants and sky, eating cheap Chinese food and watching the sun set. Hat tip to Westfield valley Fair in San Jose

"Yes! This Is Exactly Why Writing Emails Is So Horrible" http://feedly.com/k/1aVHb8s
I have to write a lot of emails. A lot of emails. And each and every one is like a vacation to hell. If you're anything like me, you know exactly how that feels, but this video from Domics sums it up so perfectly it makes want to die and never write another email again.

If I wasn't working on self-driving cars, I'd want to be working on this.

too funny. unfortunately the self driving car will be hitting pedestrians or making other drivers so angry that the teen will be a victim of road rage
