The day before Valentine's Day I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife at her place of employment (school) on Valentine's Day. After specifically questioning the staff member I was talking to on the phone, I was assured the flowers would be delivered in the morning. However, when my wife returned home that evening, she had not received the flowers. I called Geri D's, (had to call several times to get an answer from them) and was told that "the delivery truck had broken down, and by the time the delivery person had gotten to my wife's school, the school was closed." Well the school doesn't close until about 5 pm, so that was the first crock of you-know-what. Then I asked why they didn't call me or my wife when this happened. So they said, "Well, there was an accident down the street so our power was knocked out and the phones." DUH! You mean you don't have a CELL PHONE? You mean you didn't think that the first thing you should do would be to contact the client the very next day? This place is jaw-droppingly the worst example of customer service I've experienced in many a year. . .
