I have dealt with Toyota of Puyallup's service department for decades, and ONLY deal with them. I drive from Lacey. They have always been fair with me and provided excellent customer service. Laurie is just a sweetheart and always upbeat and positive in dealing with me or any customer. That brings me to Fred Goetz. This guy always goes to the extreme with his customer service. Fred has a personality and sense of humor that makes him a lot of fun to deal with. He is very knowledgeable about what goes on in the service department and Toyota is lucky to have him there. He is honest and very fair! I totally trust him. Thank you Fred!!

I have had the most truly unprofessional experience. I have gone through months of misfiled paperwork, a lost payment, and representatives who never answer their phones. The first trip was enjoyable and the rep, Darrin who helped me was great BUT everyone I have dealt with after is completely incompetent. I work in the finance field and complete auto loans daily so I understand how important DOL docs are and to have them messed not one but a few times is ridiculous. I have given this place numerous times to redeem their mistakes but after 3 months nothing has changed...I still DO NOT have my plates and my first payment made a month ago is now missing? I am truly horrified with this place and their lack of customer service. The worst of it all is the lack of transparency and communication. I am so disappointed in this experience and if possible I would return the car and never look back.

I just returned home from the 30K mile service on a 2015 Tacoma TRD Pro, which took 3 hours to complete. I popped open my air filter box to see what they replaced.. WTF? The old dirty filter had not been replaced or even cleaned at all. This is less than 30 minutes after leaving dealership. Makes we wonder how many other things they lied about. They can't be trusted..

I went in to the dealership to get my digital compass looked at. They said it was not coverered under warranty. That's fine and I understand that. But driving down the road soon after I was at Toyota of Puyallup, the plastic piece that my digital compass is enclosed in had fallen out of my roof while hanging by wires and hit me in the face while I was driving 60 miles an hour, twice! At first I thought maybe it needed to be clicked in properly so I did that. The second time I knew something wasn't right. The screw that holds it secure was not put back in. I was very upset and called the customer service manager. The front desk said that he would contact me immediately he was good at getting back to people quickly. About two weeks have gone by and Toyota Puyallup has never contacted me. It's the closest dealership to me and I will never do business at this place again! This could have been more serious. When u go to a name brand dealership you have faith that they do things right. WELL THEY DIDNT DO THINGS RIGHT.

LIARS!***Preying on Senior Citizens***LIARS! LIARS!***No ethics and absolutely no integrity***LIARS! August 11, 2016 We went to Toyota of Puyallup for/with my mother (a senior citizen) to ask about the Costco discount and if they were a participant. If you're not familiar, Costco offers a program where you get a massive discount off of the invoice price (what the dealer actually pays) and the MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) is ignored. We were greeted by Joe Luna (sales consultant). We were pleased when Joe said that they were in fact a part of the Costco program. Because of being a part of the program, we decided to move forward with Joe Luna and Toyota of Puyallup. Much later she found out that they lied and are not a part of the Costco Discount program. We asked upfront; we were told yes. We asked when she found a car she didn't like: we were told yes. We asked when we found the car she loved...this time we were told by Joe Luna that he would print out the cars invoice price so that way we could see the Costco savings for ourselves. We asked many times during the process. She asked the Sales Manager Mike Brown and he also confirmed being a part of the program. We asked so frequently, they were probably just as annoyed by us asking as you are reading about it. If we had learned upfront that they weren't a part of the Costco program we would have left immediately and went to Toyota of Tacoma..... but we live in Puyallup so we tried here first. She got ripped off. She didn't get the discount obviously. As a matter of fact, she ended up paying $100 over the ticketed price!! They completely took advantage of a senior citizen by knowingly misleading her into the deal. It was an old fashion bait and switch sales technique. They exploited her kindness and trust. They must do this quite a bit because it was seamless. Questions were immediately answered with lies. Everything without question seemed legit. She was contacted by Toyota of Tacoma where she learned of the actual invoiced price and the actual discount that she would have received. She then called Mike Brown, at Toyota of Puyallup, who at first claimed to not be a part of the deal at all!!! When he was confronted and told that his signature was all over the paperwork at least a dozen times, he reluctantly confessed to being involved in it. The worst part (other than lying to get over $40,000 for a car sale) was he 100% backed up his dishonest salesperson. He completely denied ever saying anything about Costco. Saying if they had been asked about being "Costco authorized", they would have said straight out "NO". Terrible. After lots of arguing and pointing out that the contract clearly states "legal cause" as a reason to return the vehicle; they agreed to take the car back today. She will be buying from Toyota of Tacoma. Costco has been contacted and informed that Toyota of Puyallup is falsely representing Costco's program to get sales. BBB is being contacted about this. Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson is being contacted to report deceptive practices. AARP is being contacted to be informed that Toyota of Puyallup is using deceptive practices and preying on senior citizens. The Federal Trade Commission, AAA, The DOL, The Elks, the Eagles, Kiwanis International.....as many people as possible must be informed That Joseph Luna, Mike Brown and Toyota of Puyallup are preying on senior citizens and are just lying to customers in general.

Very unprofessional manager. We were discussing an issue after buying a car three days ago from the Puyallup lot. Manager DID NOT take what we were questioning very well and admitted that the website was wrong got up and said he needed to walk away. Very "professional" purchased 3 cars from here and 1 from Burien Toyota but next time I'll definitely make the drive to Toyota of Burien.

I lease a brand new vehicle through Toyota. After experiencing some cosmetic and transmission problems, I brought it into the service department. I was treated so poorly by the staff, and given miscellaneous charges on something that was a fault on their behalf. I spoke up about the charges and the employee said "Nothin' we can do." I've been in the service industry for 3 years in a management position, and I couldn't fathom to see one of my employee treat a customer this way. A truly un-remarkable experience.

So for years i had a Tacoma truck and always had great service at the Toyota of Puyallup. Well I guess all good things come to a end. Today I go in for a basic oil change on my commuter car a 2001 camery and the tell me all of my lug nuts on my car are stripped and have to be replaced. They tell me this is going to cost me almost 300 dollars out of pocket. I bought the tires at Toyota of bellevue and the only place that have ever rotated my tires are Toyota of Bellevue. They tell me they can not do anything about my issue because because Toyota of Bellevue is responsible. Then they tell me they will put my tires back on and they "hope" my car will make it to Bellevue. A real class act from Toyota of Puyallup. One would thing Toyota dealers would back each others service departments. They did not even have the common curtesy to call Bellevue to ask if they would cover the job.
