OMG... I've been shopping at MicroCenter for 17 years! I built my first frankenstein computer from parts sold in their Denver store. You can always find help when you ask and I've never felt pressure when they ask. I wouldn't know about their phone service as they are the archetype of a technology retail store. Do your research, go there with knowledge, don't try to 'bend someone's ear'.

Every time I go in, the sales staff is responsive, knowledgeable, and nerdy. The prices are great, and I'm always happy to be supporting the local economy rather than ordering off Amazon or NewEgg.

The store was busy, and I thought I would have to wait forever for help, but I was wrong. I got helped right away, found everything I was looking for. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable about the products, I got lucky enough, when i went back a couple weeks later, the same guy helped me. I have been to Micro Center a few times over the past couple of years, for different things, and I have NEVER had a bad experience.

I purchased all my computer parts for my high performance gaming PC last week. When I got home, I put my rig together only to discover that I had a short somewhere (probably because I spent less on my motherboard and that was not Microcenter's fault). Since it was late, I decided to go back to Microcenter early the next morning to see if someone could help find the problem. I figured it was either the PSU or the motherboard. When I mentioned this to them, they said they would replace both, no problem. After taking apart my rig at the knowledge bar and taking out the motherboard and PSU, I exchanged for new parts. I then began putting my rig back together with the help of -I believe her name was- Chris, who was absolutely helpful and very understanding of my frustrations. After the rig was put back together, I discovered that my top PCI-E slot wasn't functioning on the new motherboard. As you can imagine, this was extremely frustrating, but the staff was super helpful and understanding. I repeated the process again and got another motherboard and rebuilt the rig again. Third time is the charm. My rig is now running without a single problem and I absolutely love it. I would definitely advise going to Microcenter to not only build your new PC, but to purchase all electronics you may need (as i am now doing from now on)

Even though they have been claiming they 'are working on getting their phones fixed', you still can't get them to answer. But that's OK, there's plenty of other places to shop and spend money with. BTW, microcenter, don't bother to respond to this review. It' obvious that you really don't care about taking care of your customers, otherwise you'd have a better phone system and better customer service.

We (TechnoSmarts) placed our order online and within 18 minutes we received an email that the order was ready to be picked up. When we got there to pick up our order, the staff was friendly and helpful. Great products! Great Customer Service!

I really want to like this place, but their phone customer service might as well not exist... I called 8 or 9 times and got disconnected everytime.. Then when I leave a message asking what is going on with my computer I get absolutely no response.. I really like the versatility and options this place presents but they need to work on their customer service skills and get their phone lines sorted out... -update- I got to speak to one of their managers and that was really cool, they addressed my concerns about the phone lines. Like I said aside from the phone lines I really love this company, they are resourceful and take care of their customers.

One of the hardest stores ever to reach by phone... might as well stop by when your in the area because you wont get through... Failed service call replacement for me.. Once in the store its a kid in candy store they have everything!!!!
