Micro Center Rocks!!! The Best Electronic store in Saint Louis. You have an amazing variety of products to pick and extremely knowledgeable sales guys who will go out of their way to help you make your decision to buy the Right product. Quoting an example I want to take this oppurtunity to appreciate the effort from Tim to help me pick the correct Ram for my laptop. He was just Awesome!!!. Kudos!!!

Having discovered Microcenter last year I can say I am very happy with them. Let it be known I bought an expensive and nice (open box) computer from them and have had some issues. I have taken my computer in 4 different times for service. With that said, while it is an inconvenience I am still immensity happy with the service and the treatment. Yes it was not perfect or fixed perfect the times I brought it in. However, I am a resident in the real world and understand things take time and a fix isn't always black and white. Each time I was given great service and treatment and they didn't treat me as if I was crazy even though it seemed that way. My problems weren't duplicated at the store yet they treated my accusations as if they were, and after 3 times of finding nothing they tried again to find I was correct and fixed the issue. Great company and people. I would more than 1000% highly recommend.

A geek like me could quite easily live in a place like MC. It appears to have all the essentials, except food, but that's negotiable. Less than 10 years ago, a place like this would be a refuge of the forever alone übergeek; a place much akin to a foreign country where knowledge of a foreign culture was an asset and knowledge of a foreign language was a requirement. Today, MC is as busy as any Best Buy. In fact I like to think of it as the grownups' Best Buy, a place for shoppers who know what they're doing to shop or get assistance from employees who know what they're doing. I don't mean to say if you're not a 1337 hax0r you'll be lost; that's what the staff is for. As the Good Book says, "When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things." So it has been with my tech shopping habits.

I had a top notch customer service experience at Micro Center in Brentwood. Ashley provided me with a pressure and hassle free experience and answered all the questions I had while shopping for a laptop. The only availability they had in store for the laptop I liked was an open box item. This particular model was suppose to come with some accessories including a USB->Ethernet adapter; however, unbeknownst to Ashley, the adapter was missing from the box. When I got home, I called the store and the lady I spoke with told me that the reason open box items are marked down in price, is because they are sometimes incomplete; however, she informed me that she would pass my information onto a manager and they would call me back. I did not receive a call back but a few days later, i received an email to rate my customer service experience. I gave high marks but explained the issue that I had encountered. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the manager(Jonathan) asking if we could arrange a time to speak on the phone in regards to the missing component. After we spoke and I explained what happened, he asked me to come to the store and speak with a manager and the issue would be resolved. I came in and spoke with the sales manager(Jim) and he was able to open a brand new version of the laptop I purchased, locate the adapter, and provide it to me. Micro Center has always been and will continue to be my go to store for all computer related purchases because of this experience. Kudos!

Easily the best place to go for any tech need. Example: I've built two computers with Microcenter's service and have had issues with parts on both (not Microcenter's fault). Microcenter's customer service made it extremely easy to make the returns and exchanges with zero hassle from representatives. Prices are cheap and fair. I could not imagine going anywhere else for my technology needs. Thank you for an outstanding store and shopping experience. P.S. - the store remodel looks great!

Edit: I'm editing my review because I still think Microcenter is a nice place and most of the people working there are very nice and very helpful. My original review and rating was only because the "Manager" of the Brentwood branch was really impolite and made my shopping from that branch a bad experience, that's why now I do most of my shopping from NewEgg and Amazon... but to be fair, I can not say that Microcenter is a bad place, I would still give it 5 stars if it wasn't because of that person...

I've never been to a Micro Center, so it seemed like a nice electronics place. Absolutely stuffed to the brim with gadgets, widgets, and doodle bits. I wish we had one in Columbia, it would be awesome to have a DIY section like that closer to home.

Prices are already fair, plus they will also price-match Amazon! The only downside to the prices seems to be Brentwood's 10% sales tax. The amount listed on the website doesn't always accurately reflect what the store actually has available. Seeing "3 in stock" might actually mean "sold out" when you get there. Sales people are WAY too eager to put their little sticker on your items. Is this some sales commission thing? They try to "help" you long enough to put their stickers on your stuff. The company they use for refurbished computers is a joke. The computers are untested, filled with incorrect or mismatched RAM, or in the case of laptops, supplied with bad batteries and incorrect power adapters. Such a shame!

Hi Nicholas, I apologize for the trouble you've run into with the inventory in store versus the website. We will certainly use this feedback to improve. In the meantime though we do have in-store pickup available which allows you to reserve what you see on the website and they will notify you at the store when your order is ready to pick up. This way, if something is inaccurate, you don;t waste a trip. More info on that here - http://www.microcenter.com/site/customer-support/pickup.aspx In regards to the refurbished computers you've had trouble with, I can definitely understand the frustration with purchasing a computer with an error. There are multiple companies that refurbish computers that we sell. If you can send me more information in regards to this to me at custrel@microcenter.com and include a copy of your review for my reference, I would be happy to look into this for you. We value you as our customer and appreciate your feedback! Thanks, James Customer Relations Micro Center custrel@microcenter.com
