NERD ALERT !!!!!FROM
A Mighty Girl
When Danielle Taylor heard about her school prom's “Sweet Dreams" theme, she decided it needed something a little more heroic -- “So being the nerdy person I am," wrote Danielle, "I designed my prom outfit after the Arrow, and said, ‘Prom, you have failed this high-school.’" In a Facebook post she shared photos of her Green Arrow dress with Stephen Amell, who stars as the crime-fighting vigilante superhero of the show "Arrow", who wrote back that it looked "tremendous" and was "super creative." According to Danielle, her friend Ashlyn styled her prom dress after The Flash and the two attracted a lot of stares at the prom. She added that "the day after I heard people asking other people if they saw the girl with the hood, and then proceeding to ask who it was! Little did they know that it was me. So a hood really does hide your identity!"
Kudos to Danielle and Ashlyn for turning their prom into an opportunity to let their inner superheroes shine! To read Danielle's post, visit http://on.fb.me/1GlPlBP
