Court strikes down Illinois DUI law
Check out this article about how an Illinois appellate court recently struck down a state statute that permitted police to take blood and urine samples from certain DUI suspects without a warrant. The law allowed the samples to be taken if police suspected an individual was impaired and had been involved in a crash causing death or injury. However, the court ruled that the warrantless tests could only be conducted if a warrant could not be obtained in a timely manner.

Report: 2016 sees increase in fatal accidents

New expungement law for juvenile records
