The previously mentioned engineering phrases. It's not perfect, but it's what I naturally do.

Does anyone do anything fancy for 'au' in teeline? I've seen using a full 'a' (e.g. 'audio', 'audience') but I've not come across any hard rules for this.

Has anyone here ever had a problem copying from Word to LaTeX? I'm trying to compile a list of 'danger' characters which could cause problems and I'm just wondering if I've missed any big ones.

So far I've got:
“ ” ‘ ’ \verb=^M= – — π

Does anyone have any more suggestions?

The tex file I'm using is here: https://www.overleaf.com/1766846dxsdxk#/4419503/
feel free to edit directly.

My teeline of +Grant Ito's post! It's not perfect by any means, just an example of what my natural shorthand looks like.

The BSL Parlour is now on Vimeo! The main advantage to Vimeo here is that everyone can upload videos and contribute to the same channel. So feel free to upload your own sign videos and submit them!

I want to start a community led BSL dictionary with signs from lots of people. To that end, I've made a YouTube channel for it, and a twitter @bslparlour. If you're interested in donating a video or 10, give me a buzz!
