I'm glad I did not listen to some of the reviews on here as far as the boat goes. The boat was great, the food was GREAT really 5 star, servers and staff were AWESOME, the champagne was great, the music , singers and DJ were GREAT. This cruise is worth every penny. Our waitress Ericka was very friendly , funny and never left us hanging , she was awesome, the bus boy Maurice was awesome as well, he checked on us every few mins and were never were in need of anything, Ericka and Maurice both did a GREAT job. The boat is beautiful, dinner is spectacular, the dancing was so much fun, Me and my fiance will be returning customers atleast once a year if not more for last night's experience. Great job Odyssey Boston!

The service staff was phenomenal! The food was delicious. The cocktails were great. I would have given it five stars but the boat itself needs some help. Wallpaper in the stairwells is peeling off. Wood trim features chipped, the stairway hand railings were sticky and the hand rail bases were caked with dirt. Many painted surfaces need to be repainted. We had an aft window table and the ceiling tiles over head were dirty and had black hand prints on them. This is not a cheap Harbor cruise! Brunch and dinner cruises are expensive, high end so to speak. Therefore the cleanliness and overall appearance of the boat should reflect that. Improvements on interior cleanliness and maintenance are much needed on The Odyssey.

My wife and I purchased a cruise for the fourth of July. It was a little on the expensive side but we figured it would be a nice dinner and we could watch the fire works on the way back. The weather ruined that plan as a hurricane came up the east coast and the fireworks were done a day early. However, the storm did not stop the cruise from going out. The company made no effort to console customers for the unfortunate weather, which caused what they thought, was going to be a fireworks and dinner cruise into just a dinner cruise. I understand that they cannot control the weather but neither can the customers and they were now not getting what they paid for. The only thing we got as customers was that holiday cruises can not be rebooked or cancelled and emails letting us know that the cruise would sail despite the weather. You would expect such an expensive experience to be over the top nice and the company to be extremely concerned about customers. This was simply not the case; in fact it seemed that the experience was about equal to going to a generic food chain. I would say that had the weather been nicer and the fireworks not been rescheduled this might have been at least better. I do not blame the company for still sailing out but given the circumstances I was expecting some consolation. After all what we paid for and what we received were drastically different. The dinner was ok, nothing like what you pay for, but the service was excellent. Our server was Sam and his helper Talon and they were both the best part of the trip. Other than that the music was out of place and the table layout was awkward. I would NOT recommend this to people because of the mediocre dinning experience and lack of interest the company takes in your experience. Thought it would be something fun to do, at least once. Was wrong and hope that this review might help others avoid the same mistake. Even if you do book a cruise with the ship make sure to have low expectations.

Celebrated a special event on the Spirit of Boston. We had a marvelous time. The food, the staff, the photo group, the weather, were all perfect. Our event manager was very helpful. I would sail again just for the fun of it. No special event needed.

Worst reservation ever! In addition of not sending me the address of boarding. They have a long wait for customer service call, argue with customer over the phone. this just the worst decision that i have ever made in my life. Ruined my best friend's birthday

I should have listened to some of the reviewers here. I was there last night with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday and our experience was alright, nothing special and definitely not the worth the money you pay. The Boston scenery was beautiful, service was excellent, our server Scott was very helpful and funny. I ordered the short ribs which was pretty good, but my girlfriend ordered the Seafood Risotto and she hated it, it tasted like food from a beat down restaurant. Both deserts tasted like they had been seating out for long time, very stale, the only thing we enjoyed was the vanilla ice cream. The cruise needs a major renovation and some decoration on the decks, definitely not luxurious as they say on their website. The lights weren't even on on the top deck, you could barely see the other people on the deck. I wouldn't recommend going for any special occasions because it's definitely not going to be a great memorable experience, as you might think.

The brunch buffet is OK. Obviously you go on this cruise for the sights and experience, not for the food. It's basic buffet food, like you'd find at a standard hotel (not a 5-star hotel), but the upper deck is beautiful. Seats aren't hard to come by and you can bring your drinks up there while enjoying the view. Oh, on the plus side, they have really good Bloody Marys during brunch (though they cost extra)

Not a very comforting feeling not having people within a company that do not follow through. Here is why I felt this way: I looked into Odyssey (1 month ago) and spent time on the phone with 2 different people. 1 for booking a corporate event for my company. 2. for booking a wedding with them. After both phone calls & having great conversation, I never heard back from either person I spoke to.
