Probably the worst Safeway i've been to. You'd think being in snooty Lake Oswego would help, but no. No self-checkout lines and long lines every time, and usually only 2 aisles open and employees standing around doing nothing. The only reason I ever go is because it's close to my work. Go to Freddies instead! For the ridiculous markup Safeway charges you'd think they would be better at getting you through the line and getting you taken care of. Whoever runs this one needs to make some changes!!!

As you might expect, these employees are ready for you if you are willing to dispute or try to negotiate any unnecessary/unreasonable fees they might charge you. Like any step in the dmv-law enforcement-insurance racket, you may as well just bend over and take it because there's no step along the way where you will not get screwed. Dumb thieves use guns, smart thieves charge fees.

Ah, the one city in Oregon that makes you feel like you truly live in a police state. One of the previous mayors of Beaverton specialized in law enforcement, and they have invested heavily in ridiculous automated traffic cameras and other unnecessary technologies. This is with our public money! They will literally get you for going 21 in a school zone. I went to traffic court and there were freaking GRANDMAS there who they busted for very minor infractions. These were first timers too, respected members of the community who have never done any law breaking in their entire lives. Apparently to Beaverton Police, its not enough to let these people off with a warning. And the judge will only reduce your fines by $65 dollars at the most, where a minimum fine is usually around $260. REAL law enforcement and our taxes must not pay for their likely gigantic budget for unnecessary traffic enforcement tech and overstaffed department. They have a ridiculous amount of red-light cameras and speed traps on just about every major highway. The cameras are EVERYWHERE, not just on major intersections. Hello, Big Brother! This is more a money making operation than anything approaching 'Serving and Protecting'. They need to seriously start enforcing real laws and cut down the size of the department and cameras to a reasonable level. It makes me sad that my tax dollars are paying for this garbage instead of real law enforcement.

I love the people here (the smell when you walk in the door is always nice sweet and pungent), and their Kratom incense has gotten much better over time, however, they charge WAY too much for it. $25/oz is nearly 3x more than you can pay online (even including shipping). Wholesale, i'm guessing they probably get it around $5-10/oz. wholesale. This would be like grocery stores charging $10-15+/per gallon of milk, it's nearly a 200% markup. If the owners would just drop their price by 1/2 - 2/3rds or so, they would probably make more money on it in volume. Either way, I think it's a little greedy considering the overall blissful vibe of the shop. I'm all for buying locally rather than online, but not if the markup is that high.

Completely dissatisfied with everything about the service here. The door guy was extremely, unnecessarily rude to everyone in my party. We decided to go to another bar after they wouldn't let one of us in because she forgot her ID (she obviously looked much over 27!!). They STILL charged my card even though I hadn't gotten the drinks that I paid for between the time I ordered and when we left. These people do not care about their customers and because they stole from me will not ever receive my business again.
