This is the official Google+ page of Screen Actors Guild Awards® and is administered by Screen Actors Guild Awards LLC.  This page was created so that SAG-AFTRA members, friends, families, fans and interested observers can connect and engage with one another. Its main purpose is to distribute news and information related to Screen Actors Guild Awards and to offer commentary on topics of interest to our members and fans.


The SAG Awards does not endorse any product, service, person or campaign added to this page by anyone other than the administrators and such posts or comments may be removed. The inclusion of automatically-generated advertising on this page does not imply or constitute endorsement by either the SAG Awards or SAG-AFTRA of the products or services advertised.

The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012. The SAG Awards ceremony is one of the awards season’s premier events. The SAG Awards’ red carpet and showroom fill with a who’s who of the entertainment industry as the casts of the year’s best-acted films and television series come together with industry leaders to meet, mingle and cheer their colleagues. It’s an evening of spirited camaraderie, glamorous fashion, warm reunions, spontaneous laughter and shared respect, as the world’s finest actors gather to honor their own in an intimate dinner-party atmosphere. It’s an awards ceremony like no other. From the signature opening “Actors’ Stories” to acceptance speeches in which Actor® recipients speak from the heart to their peers, the SAG Awards puts its focus squarely on the actors. The Screen Actors Guild Awards are closely watched by the industry as a precursor of possible Oscar® recognition and by viewers as an emotional, memorable night of live television.
