An eclectic, Southwestern menu pairs with roadhouse-like decor at this casual spot.- Google

Ruined our week in NYC. We thought we would go in the place even though it looked a little run down. Everywhere else was busy but this place was empty. The staff were not interested and we ordered an egg dish which looked bad. My dad only eat a little and we paid and left as it was super bad not a good place. Also $31 for an entre in a diner, seriously? Dad was taken sick an hour later and had to go to the emergency room. He had food poisoning. My husband and I went out later and saw we missed on lot more places to choose from. Did we make a mistake. Real bad. The kitchens and bathrooms were bad as you can see them openly. You can get much better at many other places. Really upset us all. Guess this place will not be open much longer .

We've gone here with kids in tow for a few years now. It's our favorite "nicer" diner in the neighborhood. Good food, friendly service.

Tasty food, prices reasonable (14$ for eggs benedict brunch), nice location and clean. Service fast, plenty of servers, but they disnt mention the brunch came with juice and coffee, so we didn't order drinks... Later we found this out and ordered the drinks. But it seemed the staff were trying to cheat us out of the brunch included drinks.

The food is surprisingly good, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is good - tasteful and not too crammed-in. Local tip: They've got great lunch deals.

Went there as a stop off with some friends before a taping of the Colbert Report. Good jump off point for burgers and beers. Quick service.

Greatest cafe in Hell's Kitchen especially for breakfast. We walked for blocks to find a good old fashioned quality cafe and ended up back at our favorite. Route 66! Nice to see a classic NYC establishment like this surviving. Give them your business!

Not a place to take children. We went for brunch with my kids last Sunday, and some old dirty guy who seemed to be a cleaner, I think maybe Russian, was shouting at one of the girls working behind the bar. Very offensive comments, and shocked my kids. The whole restaurant and staff could see what was going on. The food was slow and cold and the waitress rude. We might be from the Bronx but not used to that. You could also see the kitchen from the bathrooms, pretty disgusting, people touching the food with no gloves.Never again.Dirty and rude.
