We had a great Christmas with Stephen, Mary and Dave. Loads of fun and we are planning on participating in a shotgun shooting competition on Saturday. YEE-HAW! It was a very "stabby" Christmas as everyone except for the mother received a new Leatherman or Gerber, or both. I am not feeling left out since I have my Juice, my Skelatool, and my every day all carbon carrying blade pocket knife. Can you say, "This family must all be from NM?"

I've been married 33 years and adore my husband. We are deeply committed Christians and this drives our life decisions. We have two great children and a wonderful son-in-law. Living in Fort Sumner for the last six years has been terrific. Over the last five years I've lost 230 pounds. In January of 2009 I realized I was getting close to my goal weight, I wanted to do something special to celebrate reaching such a milestone. The high school girls' basketball team really pushed for a trampstamp tattoo, but I was unwilling to give up personal real estate :-). I thought nothing screamed fitness quite like triathlon, so I ordered some books from Amazon and began training. In May of 2009, I finished my first triathlon, and I've been doing them ever since. Now I train year-round and have done over 30 of varying distances and have completed multiple 1/2 marathon1. I am ramping up my training to move on to include more 1/2 marathons in the year cycle and want to do a full marathon in the next 12 months.
