Mentec Foundation is an NPO founded in 2006, Mentec Group in 2010 focusing on Industry Specific ICT, BPO, Portable Skills (Public Works Programmes) and Entrepreneurship skills. A global aspirant African company with the aim to become a leader in Africa. Mentec Foundation has created work opportunities for more than 12 000 beneficiaries since inception. We continue to provide enterprise development solutions to Corporate South Africa and Government. Having managed successful training and mass placement/job creation programmes in all 9 South African provinces with companies such as Accenture, Britehouse (Dimension Data), City of Johannesburg Municipality, City of Ekurhuleni Municipality, Goldfields Logistics, Rockefeller Foundation, Absa Barclays and MICT SETA, to mention a few, Mentec runs programmes for the following sectors: • ICT Sector • Mining Sector • Agriculture Sector • Banking sector • Government (Public Works framework) • Logistics sector • Retail & Property Development • Development of Enterprise & New Venture Creation Over the years Mentec has been a skills development and enterprise development delivery partner to industry leaders. Mentec units such as the Tender Room, DACE Systems (Digital Applications Centre for Entrepreneurs), Fambani Corporate Signature, Apps Factory and Youth Works for entrepreneurs (powered by Microsoft) as well as Mentec Recruit & ED Contracting (also known as Fambani Corporate Signature) blends to provide better entrepreneurs from our programmes.
