Menu
The menu at Sub Zero Vodka Bar, a product of the inspiration and creativity of brothers Derek and Lucas Gamlin, is the perfect combination of exceptional sushi, flavorful and juicy burgers, and an award-winning, extensive drink list.  We have a variety of fresh fish delivered daily, and our sushi is available until last call.  Our fresh burgers, made with high-quality, hand-ground meat, include American Kobe beef, Grass-fed beef, Black Angus beef, lamb and bison.  We offer vegetarian selections, too, such as the succulent Southwest Veggie burger.

While the Gamlins have created a world-class menu, the brothers have worked to build a world-class drink list.  Sub Zero Vodka Bar officially has the largest selection of vodka in the country.  We are also award-winning and nationally recognized.  We are honored to be recognized by St. Louis Magazine as the winner of “A-List Best Burger” and “A-List Best Bar.”  The restaurant is a can’t-miss destination for celebrities coming through St. Louis—we’ve clinked glasses with Dan Akroyd, George Clooney, and fellow spirit-maker Sammy Hagar.

Awesome place, new year 2015 was great, really great atmosphere, cool people, no pressure place, decent prices for location, very cool place, will not regret it, drinks are strong and plenty in variety but not really well made, still good but can taste better, full sushi bar, great food, very uniq place, one of the most unique in Stl

World's Fair Burger - The fact that this burger comes with two patties was the big selling point to me! But I have to say that the patties themselves were only mildly seasoned - I guess the basic Angus patty is kinda boring and I might have to try the grassfed patty next time. The jalepino cheese sauce wasn't spicy AT ALL, which was disappointing. The onions and peppers were flavorful! And the bacon looked nice, but actually didn't have much flavor. Philly Cheesesteak Burger - This is the burger my husband got. I tried I bite, but it seemed even less flavorful than my burger. However, he really enjoyed it. Sweet potato fries - Awesome! They had the perfect amount of crips on the outside and soft on the inside. They aren't seasoned at all which is kind of nice. I just added a little s&p and they were perfect for me! Overall I was fine with what I got, but I had very high expectations considering the amazing options and considering the high prices. I think I would like to go back and try something completely different and see if it impresses me.

Ordered a signature burger from the menu, and asked for cheese and jalapenos on it, special order. I heard the cook (no, you're not a chef) cursing me from the kitchen. The waitress then told me to order a "build your own" burger next time, that they don't do substitutions on signature burgers. For 55 dollars spent on 2 burgers and 2 drinks, I wont play a semantics game with a waitress. Its up to you to ring it in to the register. 2 thumbs down, no matter how good the food was. Difficult to enjoy with the LINE COOK making a scene over what sides I order.

Obviously, as their name would suggest, they have a great vodka selection. Ask for the one from Iceland that was filtered through lava rock; you won't be disappointed. The lamb burger and sushi rolls were also good.

The place has excellent vodka based drinks if that is your thing. I have never been disappointed with a Vodka based drink I've had there. It is a nice bar to go to if isn't too busy as it can be a low key place to have a drink. But I've never had a good experience when it gets busy, It can be a pain if you want to stand near the bar for drinks and when it is busy the wait staff can be non-responsive. Very good if things are slow. Avoid if it is busy.

The food & drinks were delicious and the price was well below what you would expect to pay.
