I wonder what use is anything that we are taught, if we are not taught philosophy. I wonder if anything matters if we don’t dare the questions.
Why do we exist?
Why does the universe exist?
What’s the meaning of my life?
Does my life matter?
Why does death exist?
After all this, which you choose to ponder on seriously and often, you ultimately have to come to the conclusion that nothing really matters and everything matters at the same time. IF you want to live a meaningful life!
Moment to moment is what life really is, in spite of all the planning, attempting, organizing. A persistent little bitch she is, prevailing against all odds!
And then, in a moment of heightened awareness, you realize:
I am grateful of all my friends, my experiences,
this peculiar life,
the moments of difficulty, the hardships,
the passion,
the ignorance, which leads to learning,
the arrogance, which leads to correction,
the wonder that makes you stop to smell the flowers,
the remembrance and forgetfulness,
the amazing achievements failing all predictions,
the degrading dehumanization that pushes for clarity,
all the stories that we have been able to imagine,
the child’s games that we turn into serious meetings and adult agreements,
the promises we don’t keep,
the lies we turn to truths,
the fears that drive us
and the desires that prevail despite it all.
A “moment out of time”, which includes all time, all lives, all thoughts, all experiences.
And then, a little further down the road, you’ll stop again and ask the same questions all over again. Because if you don’t, you’re not really alive!

We don't go through life "learning with our peers" or the same things as they do.
We don't go through life "making friends" with our own age group only.
We don't go through life "separating subjects" or "writing exams" to become parents, to pay bills, to keep a home, to make a life.
We don't go through life being our "correct answers" but mostly are shaped by our "wrongs", which we are taught to hide!
We don't only rely on our successes but mostly on our losses that we don't value. We still fear pain and failure as we are taught...
We "open subjects", discussions, we experiment with new concepts. We don't "close" issues, we don't leave anything behind, we don't "move on". We become whole connecting the parts.
There is no "academic year" to learning as there is no "new year" in our consciousness' awareness.
So, I really cannot understand the obsession with "compulsory schooling" but I understand the pressing need for/addiction to collective (self-induced) programming.
It's a wonderful life...pressing for awareness...!
