Watched this last night on Netflix. Irrespective of your thoughts on the game of chess this is a fascinating account of Bobby Fisher, the obsession, individualism and loneliness, leading to a match against the Russian world chess champion in Iceland: a microcosm of the cold war. At times truth can be stranger than fiction. And what happens to Bobby Fisher after the heavyweight championship of the world doesn't make for a fairy tale ending.
