This is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm on Kauai. The food for dinner and are both delicious. The manager, Mike, is a great guy too. He made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered what he recommended and it was amazing.

Food is delicious and the staff is excellent. Try the knuckles if there are any left when you get there. One of the more cost efficient places to eat on Kauai for excellent food.

Cinnamon Bread French toast is out of this world! Easily the best I've ever had. Great coffee too.

OnNot as good as it was last year. Reuben sandwich not very good. Small portion of meat Ingredients lacking. Will not return. Live in Kalaheo. My wife had the same comments on her reuben sandwich . Saturday January 9, 2016.

Joseph, I am surprised to hear that about the pastrami sandwich, I will look into it to find out where we went wrong. I'll work with the crew to ensure our portion sizes are consistent! Aloha and thanks for the feedback!

While the breakfast we had was fine, the Café didn't live up to the high expectations we had after the many good reviews. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place where you can get a good breakfast (and probably a good lunch too). You need to be aware though that the place is busy, kind of loud and a semi-self service. There was a sign at the entrance stating the "house rules" which read: '1 grab a menu, 2 grab a table, 3 order at the counter'. The orered breakfast will be brought to your table once it is prepared. So there's been a croud waiting at the counter to order, there were people walking the place from their table to the counter and vice versa, plus the waitresses delivering the food to the tables. Like I said, it's busy and noisy. Should you be en route to the beach, the canyon or whatever brought you here, and you just want to stop and have a good tasting, basic breakfast, this place is for you. If you want to sit down and have a quiet and relaxing breakfast, I'd say you better look elsewhere.

Great spot for early breakfast heading west out of Poipu. Coffee is excellent and selection is good. We eat here a couple times every trip here and are never disappointed.

Had lunch here specifically because they had GF options and said they served breakfast all day...they do, but it's a limited breakfast menu. Food was tasty and pretty reasonably priced for Hawaii. Wish they had a separate fryer for the fries (they are not safe for gluten free needs due to shared fryer), but overall, would go again.
