This was taken after climbing rocks and standing on the summit of Mt Wellington to get a view of Hobart City yesterday... after three hours on the mountain we drove down to have lunch of crumbed scallops and soy latte at the Fern Tree Tavern just across where the park was. This waterfall was an easy 15-minute walk on a flat track from the entrance. I was with Teresa, a Tassie and an awesome photographer I met on Instagram. She was kind enough to take me to Montimer Bay and introduced me to a couple of other photographers to hunt for the illusive aurora, the night before))
This place is so magical, like a winter wonderland:))
Hope your week is starting to be wonderful!!

- very chilly it was :)) - we feel the same way most of the time, hugs to you, my dear lovely!!
We drove to Bruny Island on a cold, windy day last Thursday, a place with lush vegetation, pristine beaches, scenic mountain/farm views, and awesome seafood:))
The island can be reached by a half-an-hour drive from Hobart to Kettering then a fifteen-minute ferry trip.
The highlight of our visit here was eating naked oysters with lemon at a place called Get Shucked, a short drive from the ferry terminal on the island.
Back to work... editing my photos of Hobart just when I find a bit of time to do so, and will be sharing a couple more later:))
Hope you all had a wonderful start to the week:))
