Worth a visit for good but not great food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very comfortable. Perfect for a first date. The service was steady and professional. Perhaps not a polished and refined as one might expect given the mood and prices of the food. But it was solid. The meal was a mixed bag. The appetizers were tasty. The steak was good but nothing special. Overall, I'd give the restaurant a try. I might not be back as Seattle has many awesome restaurants. But I suspect my experience may have come on an off night.

This is hands-down one of the best restaurants in Seattle. Its perfect for any size grom from a work-related dinner to a romantic night out--they will take care of you regardless of the type of experience you're looking for. The food is consistently amazing and the tasting room adjacent to the restaurant allows you to taste the restaurant's house wines (all of which are good, but I am partial to the Cabernet Franc) and select a bottle to enjoy with your meal.

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. A bit expensive, but the food is dd & atmosphere just as great. Go to the winery next door before hand- no corkage fee if you bring in a bottle from there.,,

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Walking in, the atmosphere is really nice; not too bright, but not too dark. It is a bit small, but in the nice, cozy sort of way. The decoration is really nice, it looks kinda like a house. The food was also some of the best I've ever had. Not only was it beautiful, it was amazingly delicious. Would definitely come back again!

Shaun McCrain does an excellent job blending subtle tastes to make intriguing combinations that makes you eagerly anticipate every course. I had the advantage of going with a local couple, and we got a fantastic seat overlooking the canal that also provided a view into the kitchen. The attention given to each dish as it went out was astounding. The foie gras is the signature starter, and it is totally worth it. If you like beef, the Mashima Ranch Flavor Curve is among the top two or three steaks I've ever had. The starter and main were a phenomenal combination I have recommended to many since dining there. We tried four desserts, which were all good, but they were not the stars of the meal. I also have to mention that the restaurant also has its own winery. At $15 per bottle, you cannot find a better opportunity for wine of this quality in the area.
