The 66th Confluence BPSA Scout Group offers a scouting choice for those with curiosity, energy, and independence of spirit. We are committed to providing an appropriate alternative and community-oriented scouting experience focused on character development, outdoor skills, and community service, providing experiences not found on the playground, at school, church, or home. We foster the development of scouts in an environment of mutual respect and cooperation. We are accessible and inclusive, open to anyone in St. Louis, particularly St. Louis City, and are hoping to be an incubator for future BPSA groups in the St. Louis area. Please join us for our Back-To-Scouting Picnic at Tower Grove Park on August 20. Details at the link below:

Most of you don't know that my husband is the director of the Ferguson, MO library. Since the announcement of the grand jury verdict in the Michael Brown case, things have been pretty hectic and lots of folks have asked how they can help.

If you would like to donate funds, please go here:
http://www.ferguson.lib.mo.us/
(Yes, we know that the webpage is awful. That's one of the things that we will fix as soon as things cool down.)

If you would like to donate hard copy books please send them here:
ATTN Scott Bonner
Ferguson Municipal Public Library
35 North Florissant Road
Ferguson, Missouri  63135

If you would like to donate e-books or other items, please call the library and ask to speak to Scott:  (314) 521-4820 or send him an e-mail sbonner at ferguson.lib.mo.us

If you want to follow library updates, please find us at that other place: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ferguson-Municipal-Public-Library/1393732714182499
or on Twitter:@Fergusonlibrary

We have a G+ account, but we just started it and since Scott and I are the whole of the social media team we are not updating right now. It is +Ferguson Municipal Public Library for future reference.

STL-area musicians: We're looking for some bands that would be willing to play a benefit show for our local coed, inclusive scouting group sometime this spring. If interested, please get in touch. Thanks!
