Here's what they said. Atlantic Pyramid is an intriguing premise, one we have not seen in the Workshop since the program’s inception. The work immediately draws readers in with suspense and wondrous surprises, and a like able main character. Mrs. Lowe’s ease of writing a contemporary character is refreshing. She seems to know her main character backward and forward. She has a similar familiarity with her support characters. She infused individual traits particular to each characters’ nationality and historical time period. Such a wealth of variety is commendable.
Mrs. Lowe’s imagination is superior. Her ideas are unique and unpredictable. Her writing displays a good representation of her story and the scenes. She imbues action and emotion in her characters, giving them depth, as well as building layers upon her scenery. She is not one for keeping things simple or commonplace. We especially liked the mutant wildlife of her location and how it fits into the story. Such oddities set this work beyond others in her attention to details.
The premise of the story regards Heath Sharp, an instructor pilot, who crashes on an island that happens to be the center of the Bermuda Triangle mystery. He encounters a myriad of other trapped castaways, who have been kept alive by the island from the moment of their arrival. Heath is not content to abide by the warnings of his new-found friends and focuses on finding a way off the island. It is in his endeavors to escape that he has many adventures.
Mrs. Lowe was able to keep this story moving forward, refusing to let it grow stagnant. The pace was consistent and enjoyable.

I was born June 18th, 1979 in Clayton County Georgia and raised in Peachtree City. In ’98 I attended college for graphic design, only to leave to pursue a writing career. Currently I’m living in Florida with husband Ben and daughters, Mia and Kirsten. Right now I’m busy working on a nonfictional book, Cherished Thief, a sci-fi/fantasy titled, Atlantic Pyramid, and a dark thriller novella, Storyteller, with future plans to begin on a three part dark fantasy series, Legend in time of the Ages.
